@Leo Gura The idea behind dependent arising is to awaken from all dreams. Anything within mind is included. Awakening from the "some guy called Leo" is merely a speck within the chain of possibility to become entangled In. I still don't see how the Buddhist dependent arising stuff does not apply regardless of whether you're an alien, Leo, or a door knob. It's a universal principle.

@Leo Gura do you sense that this alien intelligence was imagining being "Leo"? Or that both the hyperintelligent alien mouse and Leo were just equal expressions of yourself? If this mouse is some kind of alchemical bond between absolute weirdness, absolute playfulness and absolute quirkiness, and that is your highest will even in your current state of consciousness, why do you feel you are not that mouse now? Or is your highest will to be Leo who is transmuting into this hyperintelligent mouse and making some kind of connection between these?

With derealization I look at family and see them like familiar alien beings. But this perception is based in dissociation and results in being a bit more dumb than usual compared to states of normal function.

@Leo Gura What was the purpose of becoming an alien hyper intelligence? God-Realization or your Realization of the Infinity of Gods seems much higher type of Realizations then this one.

I'll add one more thing to clear up the confusion: In depersonalization/derealization when they say alien, they are talking about feeling alienated. Leo is talking about a non-human intelligence, not the sense of alienation.

IME, part of it is looking at oneself as if one is alien. But it's not the predominant focus. Alright, enough side-tangent.

Don't get too attached to the specific experience I shared. It's very unlikely that anyone here will ever have this mouse experience. That shouldn't be your goal. You can set a more general goal of exploring and experiencing an alien mind. That should be doable with enough practice. And who knows what kind of wacky stuff you might bump into. I highly doubt it. Depersonalized people don't talk about alien minds.

Well, I've never experienced depersonalization, so I'm not sure exactly what people mean by that. That's akin to losing your sense of ego. But becoming an alien consciousness is totally different. Imagine for a minute that you actually entered the mind of an advanced alien species. What might that feel like? That's what happened to me. I actually have a direct experience of an advanced alien mind. Surely you guys believe that somewhere in our vast universe aliens exists, and that they are way more intelligent than humans. So obviously alien consciousness is a thing. It's possible and even likely. The only issue is, have you experienced it or not, and what does it feel like? How different it from being a human? You can't really doubt its existence.

What is the difference between this sense of seeing oneself as alien and depersonalization?

Please let me decide what is supposed to lead me. Everybody leads me to God. It is possible. Yes, it was specific conditions within his mind, but why can't I use it as an additional integrating factor in my existing blueprint? He was trying to create such conditions. But we are too busy discussing how his method of creating such conditions should be. I think we will insult our teacher if we continue discussing this as this post has some more important and beautiful things to discuss. This is my opinion. I don't know how Leo was like. Prove to me that you're not hallucinating that. What you want does not apply at higher levels of consciousness. If you keep insisting on materialism then you will keep recreating materialism, in which case you will never access alien consciousness. The only reason I was able to access alien consciousness was because I deconstructed my mind so completely that nothing of materialism remained. Imagine deconstructing your mind so completely that you literally go insane. And then you discover alien consciousness somewhere beyond that. Whatever you consider sanity to be, you have to throw that away. Then we can really explore consciousness and find some interesting stuff.
