  1. @CVKBT It will definitely clear a lot of misconceptions about what Tantra, Yoga, Kundalini is etc. Wallis has a great youtube channel as well with a lot of valuable information. Once you start to study this stuff you see that so much have come from Tantra, and that Kriya Yoga has a strong Tantrik foundation. Wallis has a youtube series going through all of the verses of an early Tantrik scripture (from the Trika lineage) called Vijnana Bhairava Tantra. It was an esoteric text written probably in the 9th century that has a lot of Tantra Yoga techniques in it. Here (and perhaps in even earlier Tantrik texts) you first start to see the mentions of a central channel, side channels, chakras etc.

His book/commentary on the Recognition Sutras is also highly recommended. These Tantrik masters had such quality teachings that they feel really fresh, open and alive even today imo.

  2. https://courses.tantrikainstitute.org/

This is a free foundation course in Tantrik Yoga led by practitioner, Tantra and Sanskrit schoolar Christopher Wallis. Tantrik Yoga is an internal yoga originating from the Tantrik Shaivism movement that arose in India over a millenia ago. It emphases embodied awakening and is a path suitable for householders. There will be a 4 year curriculum starting at the end of summer (that is the plan anyway) that will contain 7 facets: Philosophy and View, Awareness Cultivation, Energy body practices, Yogic Lifestyle, Deity Yoga, Mantra Science and Living in the World. This will be a subscription based membership and you pick and choose what you want to work on. So for example, if you just want simply practical teachings and are not interested in Non-dual Shaiva Tantra Philosophy you simply skip the View teachings.

It's very cool to see a curriculum being built on this very rich and beautiful tradition.

@Esoteric No, you made too many assumptions here, ironically. I love the phrase "wonderful logic", your logic always changes by the information and experiences exposed to you, and we usually tend to think we are really logical and that the other is stupid. If you think i am flaud, we are both ignorant here. However, lets adress the "question" here.

First of all, good for you. However it could be meat, yes, why would you just exlude it and attempt to praise it like a gift of god or smth. But so it can be so much more other factors, i can't monitor what you do, but i can share what worked for me, and got this result.

So i can continune to be a devil and reply you back with the same pretentions and silly sarcastic question: I said that i stopped eating meat and didn't get sick for a long while, so that HAS to be the only factor that helped me into not getting sick, besides nutrition alone, not even touching what else i ate/did and do. WoNdErFuL LoGiC, RiGhT? But now you are going to point out i mentioned that i also did meditation and took some breaks after eating so my whole fallacy has failed, nooo, my precious logic has failed me, (and you probably are the prefect being of god who can't be illogical, right)? Of course i don't think that, but the blatant "logical" attack is a bit too far, and you kinda did assume a bit more than you might want to.

Why could and couldn't meat be the reason? Or part of the factors?

It did some things to me when i stopped i can recall clearly - less need for sleep, lighter stomach/body, less anger and restlesness and suddenly my spiritual practices become so much easier to do and there was so much more bliss. Before that meditation was a exausting chore and i was waiting for it to end. And in this case, yes i think i was the meat.

    Hehe

@Leo Gura For sure! Meanwhile if people really meditate and be blissfull, eat lightly and not so frequently, you will be ok for the most part. I can tell you this because when i became vegetarian, even with the whole sweet tooth thing i have going on + good amound of meditation and bliss - for these 4-5 years i maybe have been sick for 2 days mildly. Otherwise i had like the worst flu in march of 2015. Never got really sick after that. Of course virus will do its thing but you really can make the diffrence.

I have been eating meat the last 4-5 years and have been sick for 0 days. Must be the meat. Wonderful logic, right?

  5. @Leo Gura So what you are saying is I am imagining you completely. There is no your POV and my POV existing simultaniously and overlapping eachother. Because if there were Leo's POV I would have to be aware of it since I am God, and therefore absolutely omniscient. All you are is a sophisticated character I have dreamed up doing all this deep work that is helping me become aware of what I am?

  6. @Galyna Lol the 2008 financial crisis is childs play compared to the consequences of this. Not even in the same ball park. People seem to have an idea that we will close down society and when it is safe to go out we will carry on business as usual. We will likely see a collapse of the whole economical system. It has happened before and now it is happening again. Old structures are wiped out and better structures will be built.

Without Order nothing can exist, without Chaos nothing can evolve

Civilization is so frail that it can't handle a lockdown for more than a couple of months. We need something better.

After ANY kriya technique you HAVE to do the mental kriya or you will surely have some bad experiences. You have to calm the prana.

@Arnold666 Who told you this? That guy from the Kriya Yoga thread? And now you are parroting it as a fact? You don't HAVE to calm the prana. If that's what you gotta do then great, do that. I function great on high prana and I "surely" haven't had any bad experiences. I just know how to balance it, after alot of trial and error. Just because one school says you have to calm prana doesn't mean it is a fact across the board. There are householder paths for yoga focused more on the energy aspects as well. Very sophisticated ones that has withstood the test of time.

What's wrong with the 'self' living its life as it meant to me?

Nothing wrong with it, if that's what you feel is right then do it. Then when you have exhausted your desires and start to figure out that no object or person can make you fulfilled you will start figuring out that nothing can make you truly feel complete except oneness.

Yes, we choose to label it that, isn't that how axioms work? Majority (51 of 100 people) agrees that table is should be called table, so we call tables tables.

People label a physical or verbal attack as black magick?

And no people have very different opinions on what black magick is. Some say it is when you change the material. Some say it is whenever you influence someone's will. So a love spell would be considered a form of black magick or even trying to take on someone's negativity, under that paradigm. Some say it only when you make an attack.

So it's a bit more abstract than comparing it to an object like a table.

  10. @Preety_India What are my serious accusations?

A majority of my energy practices are from the occult, so please don't make assumptions.

You are misunderstanding what I am saying. Let's make 2 examples; 1) If you get triggered and decide to want to get revenge on someone by writing something mean with the intention to hurt another, this proving to be the final catalyst of that person taking their own life or damaging others, or 2) by you putting a curse on someone making them lose their appetite for 3 days not causing a whole lot of damage in the bigger picture. According to you the latter is "black magick" and abuse of spiritual powers while the former is just verbal attack or whatever. Why do you make a distinction between the two acts? The former example does way more damage, but is less severe because it doesn't fall under the umbrella of "black magick" according to you?

I am saying it is all Magick (if you want to use that word). It is all spiritual. We are all energy. A "physical", "mental" or "magickal" attack - It's all the same.
