@Leo Gura Would you be comfortable disclosing what tool you used to achieve this profound state of insanity?  I experienced a pretty intense state of insanity myself on a very high dose of 4-aco-DMT.

Your description is fairly ambiguous. Could means multiple different states, not necessarily insanity.

There is definitely a sense that your mind is broken. Death isn't really a big issue with insanity I would say. It's not about death or ego-death.

Thanks for making me look back at this.  I talked with Leo about it and his definition is basically like being in some alternate reality not being in this reality.  The sense of self is still there.  My definition with context to this thread was depersonalization.  So it really depends on what your definition of insanity is relative to the dialogie.  To me the epitome of being crazy is not knowing who the hell you are.  But then again this happens to patients with dementia. Although it's slightly different because they just disappear.  So if insanity means he's just not in this reality but another one with other rules then fine.  But if crazy is becoming depersonalized there really can't be a lack of sense of self. Because when the self falls away you awaken.   But to me his version of insanity you can just take a psychedelic for and go into an alternate reality. Or heck just dream at night.  Although my dreams seem to be other versions of this same reality.
