@Deepak sadhwani If you really want to understand awareness, then yes the Gita is for the likes of us regular people who need a personification in order to reveal nondual awareness to us.

If you have the cash, then I recommend this, its incredible.  Swami Dayanandas Magnum opus.  Believe me, you wont be able to get it just by reading the Gitas verses, its needs to be unfolded and taught to you so that you dont misunderstand it.

This is a good recommendation!

I would like to add to this. There is also another way, which is taught by the Buddha. If one follows it, gets rid of unwholesome deeds, one surely grasps the Gita. According to Krishna's words related to the behavior of Buddha, such a person is very dear to him. Attaining the supreme according to the Gita, is the final stage which is referred by Buddha, the Arahant.

And of course the Dhammapada, the wisdom of Buddha: http://www.buddhanet.net/pdf_file/scrndhamma.pdf

Conversations with God by Neale Walsch.

Doesn't matter if you belief it's God or not, the book is amazingly insightful and intelligent, also all free to read and it was on the NY Times best seller list for 137 weeks:
