Could God delude himself for eternity

13 posts in this topic

Would it be possible for God to become a creature with no chance of awakening within a box that keeps him alive forever and stay that way for eternity?

If that’s what God wants to do, then what’s stopping God from not doing that.

You could say God is more like deep sleep than an entity.

It doesn't choose things and is beyond, therefor it doesn't do anything.

So God is already not in delusion.

It always points to you - herenow ,

you can't contemplate yourself out of thinking with thinking, or try to solve thought problems with thoughts, you gotta learn to enjoy love and let it go, put it to rest, lay down the burden.

Some speculations I don't think it can happen:

  • God is pure love. You won't do that to yourself.
  • Eternity isn't relative.
  • The ego can't be trapped, but it can be tricked into avoiding oneness while it chases itself. The creature needs to keep imagining itself as the ego, but might accidentally discover meditation at some point. To avoid that, God could imagine as many distractions as necessary, but that's a lot of work with no clear benefits.
  • The creature is stuck inside the universe, but the universe is also stuck inside the creature. All of you will go through the same boredom.

Depends on the kind of infinity you talk about. I didn't say absolute infinity I just said infinity.

There are infinite numbers between 1 and 2, none of them are 3, none of them are the colour red. Infinity can still be limited.

Correct. Infinitely many infinities. That’s Absolute Infinity.

@Forrest Adkins if something has beginning as being alive, must have end as being dead. Every beginning has a end.

There is only one kind of infinity and that is infinity. Everything else is finite.

Now you are back to relativity. Infinity itself cannot be limited. Infinity is unlimited, yet can because of the very nature of its unlimitedness, temporarily, through its infinite ways of relative expressiveness take on the appearance of limitations. This is all contained within it.

Being unlimited also means to be limited because not being able to be limited is a limit. Yay for paradoxes

Anyways, infinity is a multi meaning word. There's more contexts when you consider a mathematical povs. Infinity VS absolute infinity is a pretty good way to express which pov your using imo

Infinite includes anything you can imagine and not imagine. Word is infinite. Universal infinite is a joke.

1/Infinite =0, infinite = +0, -0

The genius and mercy of God's design is that all finite phenomena are temporary. Dreaming/form is a finite phenomenon. All finite things start and end, are born and die.

Nothing lasts absolutly forever but there are realtive infinite realms like @Synchronicity pointed out in a previous post. Do you concider those realtive infinite/eternal realms to still be finite @Leo Gura?

Consciousness is infinite thats it. Exist, not exist, real, unreal, angel, devil and is is just you as nothing all at the same time. And nothing else.
