Candy flipping

Does anybody have any experience with combining LSD and MDMA? I heard many trip reports about this bot none from well developed people spiritually. Basically i am interested whether this is something you would recommend or not. Because psychedelics can often be accompanied with confusion i would like to know whether this combo would make a clearer and more relaxed experience or just a bigger mindfuck and even more uncontrollable.

Then on the comedown you DMT and everything connects into one as consciousness goes full circle :)

The LSD will give you a purer experience and the flip will usually give you a deeper one, although at the end of the day it all depends on the person. I've had quite a few candy-flips but they didn't come close to one of my LSD experiences. Once you know who you are, its pointless going deeper.

When you get to that point of truly remembering who you are you can feel far more love than what MDMA or a candy-flip or any drug can do for that matter. Because ultimately, they just show you the door, unlock the pathway and soon as you become you, the tools cease to exist.

I did 500ug LSD with 200mg MDMA I got so caught up in the mindfuck of reality I got myself into a thought loop. Although the visuals were beyond amazing. Pure orgasmic shit. For a bit I felt infinite. Its a really fun combo more manageable in lower doses I imagine. But you should definitely be mindful. MDMA makes me follow thoughts with less filter and LSD influencing those thoughts more can cause issues if you can't stop yourself.

It's an amazing combo, but I've only used it in a festival/rave type setting. Nonetheless it still revealed some important insights for me around love and human connection. Not more useful than a straight up LSD trip, just a different perspective.

I'd agree with @Shadowraix and suggest keeping the doses lower to get the most utility (and safety) out of it. 70-100µg for the LSD and 50-80mg for the MDMA. If you start getting into higher doses it's more and more awesome but it starts becoming more of a recreational type trip rather than something useful for growth/insight. Also higher doses of MDMA will lead to a harsh comedown.

There is some debate around the timing, although for me personally there's none. IMO you should dose the LSD first, then the MDMA right as your coming up to peak on the acid at around 2h in. By the time the MDMA comes on, you're already established and comfortable at the plateau of the acid, and wide open to the MDMA experience.

I don't recommend using MDMA regularly at all. A few times a year, max. For me it's once a year max. I've seen long term burnouts from people abusing the drug.

@Conceptually-made in the couple times I did it, it was beautiful, but it led to a greater mindfuck. Not my favorite combo.

A much lesser documented, but much more powerful spiritual combo I'd love to share is what I call the Tribal Flip. Mixing lsd and mescaline. I simply can't recommend it enough.

Do not mix psychedelics.

And do not take MDMA regularly. It will permanently ruin your brain chemistry.

I think mixing mdma with a psychedelic is a great way to learn to love the effects of the psychedelic you're taking. But I've tried it only only with weed.

Weed often reminds me of negative memories. Mdma makes me feel happy and thankful for every experience. Mixing these two made me realize that one of the reasons why I was born was to feel the bliss of forgiving life for everything that has ever happened. In one moment I just forgave everything. I can't describe the feeling I felt when I let go of all the weight of all my resentments.

@Leo Gura if you're against mixing mdma with psychedelics, then isn't it the most important thing for your development to try this experience asap?

I must disagree with you on this one. I found that mixing substances is amazingly useful for personal / spiritual development.

I have been making experiments with mixing substances at very low doses and the results are pretty outstanding. I can feel a deeper level of presence in the afterglow days, even weeks after profound experiences.

I had an experience of effortless attention mixing 0,5g of cubensis, 80mg of gincko biloba, a cup of green tea and 3 puffs of marijuana.

I spent hours looking at a park pond with  victor regias and lotus flowers. I could feel my brain upgrading to a new level of experience, since you start thinking very differently when you are completely present and with virtually no self-referencing thoughts.

I am getting to the conclusion that the secret of the shamanic path is not really taking more and more, it's using substances at threshold levels to boost your spiritual practice of choice.

I also had a very interesting experience mixing 25mg of modafinil and good quality marijuana. Same presence, almost no THC paranoia, not the same bleeding of love through the heart as the shrooms, but it was very interesting to see how my sight operates, how I scan my environment and calculate everything in matter of milliseconds.

Do mix psychedelics! But do it at really low doses and very responsibly. Know when to stop tripping and do the fine tuning by meditation alone.

@Leo Gura any other reasons not to mix psychs other than safety concerns? I'm aware of the synergistic (multiplication) effects of some combos. You take a lot less of each than you normally would. Personally, my experience with lsd + mescaline HCL was off the charts, they combined into something much greater than the sum of their parts.

@Leo Gura Oh c'mom dad

People do far more dangerous things on a daily basis... Prescription drugs, alcohol, porn, fast food.

Mixing microdoses of true medicines is actually pretty safe. A much more gentle way than blasting through infinity with 5-MeO and not knowing what to do with all that information the day after. (I'm not talking about you, by the way)

I am being very sincere here, I can feel my brain is operating in a whole new level, even though I still live in a duality. One step at a time, right?

I am also getting ultra sensitive to any substances and subtle stuff... I am currently testing walking meditation holding mudras to see the subtle diferences in my perception.

All Leo is saying, i think, is that you will never know what the fuck is going to happen when you mix the substances. Fuck knows what chemistry they might have with each other + your body chemicals, hormones and what not. I guess you guys don't really get the point of all this if you commit into something as irresponsible as that. Now I sorta understand the curiosity, try it if you want. It might bring you to some deeper understandings, insights n shit. But at what risk? This is taking unnecessary, dangerous shortcuts IMO. Not worth it in the long run.

And please, do not encourage people to mix psychedelics even if doing so is fine to you.

Leo's right, it's better to not combine psychedelics. There are enough variables just working with one, let alone when you start combining them. There are safety concerns with certain types of combos as well, so you really need to do your homework if you go down that route.

@Cudin your combo sounds pretty safe to me, although ginko gives me a headache so I never use it myself.

MDMA is extremely well studied now, it's one of the most studied pharmaceuticals, currently in US Phase 3 trials for treating PTSD. It does not appear to have negative long-term side effects when used sparingly, and is destined to become a powerful tool for psychiatric treatment. It won't be harmful to take a moderate dose a few times in your life. It's a drug that does have some teaching to offer, especially when used in a professional therapeutic setting. It's lessons are in the realm of acceptance, love, non-judgement, which can be really powerful for people suffering from trauma, PTSD, addiction etc.

However, despite this knowledge, personally I don't trust MDMA much and have only taken it a handful of times. I find that the true psychedelics have much more to offer, are safer to use, and don't have negative side-effects.

And taking straight 5-meo-DMT up your ass isn't? Come on now...

The fact is that there are some combinations, if done responsibly, that produce some unique effects that are very worthwhile to explore. I admit, there's not very many, and there's quite a lot that can be dangerous. I totally see where you're coming from. However, I invite you to keep an open mind about this stuff. There's a select few dual combos (don't mix 3 or more, that's stupid), that are gems.

I personally don't find candy flipping that great, it's more of a party combo. Mdma and lsd are way more effective by themselves for personal development.

What would be your attitude if you were not afraid of the fire?
How would it feel like if you were just as curious about experiencing brain damage as you want to keep your health?
How would you talk if you knew that every part of life is a safe environment for the soul to play in?

I'm not saying that you shouldn't be responsible for the people of this forum. These questions has very little to do with the apparent role we're playing here.

I did 5 meo and ayahuasca once. Whatever you do. Don’t do that.

I think some ayahuasca brews contain 5-MeO-DMT as is - The classic ayahuasca brew is made from DMT + an MAOI, but sometimes the shaman adds 5- MeO-DMT plants too, or even really dangerous ones like scopolamine deleriants.

Ayahuasca can be a real shit mix of drugs, I find it really sketchy and probably won't ever bother. Most people have extremely positive experiences with ayahuasca, and there's good reason for it's surge of popularity, but I don't think it's for me.
