Music To Inspire Enlightenment

Here are some good ones i found recently:

I really like this band. Their lyrics criss cross over the fine line between genius and shit.
They do a lot of drugs.

Sticky fingers:

Show No Shade  ---- Lyrics (the ones on the video aren't correct)

How To Fly ---- Lyrics

These live performances are amazing:

It's not just the music here that inspires.:) *Sorry, I see the User has now removed this vid. It was Mooji "DARSHAM" if anybody is interested. Seen on YouTube only now.

I prefer this to meditate and to stop the mind:

I find it very spiritual or right-brain in contrast to all music posted here which I find very left-brain, this is why:

- no words

- no melodies

- no traditional harmonies

- continuous loop or mantra

- minimal change

This is Die Sonne Satan, an italian dark ambient band from the 90's. If you like this one check other songs like 'Body Snatcher', 'Source', 'The garden of hydra', 'Orbis', amazing stuff!

I've had this one on loop for the past few days...

A new world hangs outside the window
Beautiful and strange
It must be falling away
I must be
Sound and color with me for my mind
And it should show you where to go when I need to speak

Sound and color
With me in my mind
Sound and color
Try to keep yourself awake
Sound and color
This life ain't like a book
Sound and color
I wanna touch a human being
Sound and color
I loath to go back to sleep
Sound and color
Ain't life just down the street
Sound and color
You wish you're looking all the way
Sound and color
The more the feeling set to notice it
Sound and color
Life is
Sound and color
Love is
Sound and color
Love is
Sound and color
Sound and color
Sound and color

Quote

Meditation is like polishing a brick to make a mirror. Philosophy is like a net to catch water. The buddah did not meditate. It's just how he sits.

Lyrics:

A long day alone

The emptiness is so real

Never having peace of mind

Running from what I can’t see

And there is no where left to hide

Turn and face these empty eyes

All alone, heart unturned

Trying to find

Break me down

Replace this fear inside

Take this nothingness from me

I want to find

I want to shine

I want to rise

Break me down

I try to find myself

I find the stranger trapped inside

And I’ll take one more step away

From a face I used to recognize

Familiar shadows closing in

Suffocating fear descends

It comes alive, uncovered eyes

Trying to find

Chorus x2

Break me down

I want to find

I want to shine

I want to rise

Break me down

Repeat

Break me!

What about the different languages we speak? That's an inspiration for personal development too. :)

Great stuff in this thread. Didn't see it at first, so I posted some ambient tunes in this thread, enjoy:

Some songs I've been contemplating on.  I've decided I'm not going to worry about dissolving my ego right now, or spirituality or any of that stuff.  Just art, that's all that matters right now.  And healing.  I just don't think I could ever be as selfless as some of you, you know?
