Yeah the punishments are fucked up. But if you raped a girl you should get some time. There's a you tube channel that live feeds parole hearings in Louisoana and Connectitut.

I feel like we as a culture have become a bit disproportional and hyperbolic when it comes to rape as a crime. We are more shocked by rape and ready to crucify someone than murder it seems. 

Like, if Lindsay Clancy had sexually abused her kids instead of murdering them she would've gotten lot less sympathy, no?

That whole case is fucked up but yes you're right. Just shows how fucked up the system is.  She should get life. Djd they have a hung jury on her?

It's a whole lot of whataboutism. Deflection.

There are issues with the UK legal system for sure. For example, women cannot be convicted of rape due to the legal definition of rape. But this is just Russell playing distraction games. 

My mother's side are all hardcore Christian. It's crazy to hear the mental gymnastics arguing for little to no punishment because converting from "filthy new age satanism" to Christianity shows his good nature. 

All the concessions are given by joining the club.
