why not?

because you will waste a lot of opertuinities. also it will take a long time to find your passion/ purpose. even if you find your passion / purpose , there may or may not be an industry out there to support your passion  .  USA have every industry. india only have IT industry. do you know what the people who love physics do in my country ? . they go for IT jobs. because there is no enough means to support those who have an intrest in physics.  do you know what olympic medal athlets do after participating in olympics. they sell fruits or vegetables on the road , or become watchmen in some shop or do some odd job as there is no mechanism here to support them

What separates the winners from the losers is excellent judgement and good work ethics.

My own village has a billionaire who while developing his startup in business used to do the hard manual labor himself wearing a singlet to cut costs. His business prospered with steady application and he rose from poverty to wealth.

The award winning Indian actor Nana Patekar who died recently, as a teenager used to walk 16 km a day from his village to Mumbai, to earn a mere rupees 35 to support his family, painting film posters and walk back the same distance. He later succeeded as a film actor and became a millionaire in his own right.

To state that India has only the IT industry is a uni-dimensional viewpoint , when it has also the agricultural, industrial, textile, pharmacuetical, manufacturing , petrochemical,  mining , banking and financial services, automobile, infrastructure and construction, tourism sectors that is creating many Indian billionaires, centi-millionaires and millionaires each day.

India is ranked third behind the US, China in terms of dollar billionaires and centi-millionaires .

I have seen soft and weak people addicted to comfort , not dynamic enough and not inured to hardship, lose out on opportunities in life and then complain of being victims of circumstances.

Mahatma Gandhi had stated the following...

Quote

"Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will."

"Manliness consists in making circumstances subserve to ourselves."

GAndhi himself had an iron will and self-control which enabled him to adhere to a gruelling schedule starting at 4 AM , learn new languages and walk many miles a day even at the age of 76 for the sake of conflict resolution.

If Gandhi was complaining of circumstances in his youth despondently, he would not have become the global icon he is at present.

yeah thats nice and cool. but india also has 150 crore population and economic inequality is pretty fucked up. why dont you look at vast majority of people who are struggling. also there are other factors other than hardwork. like generational wealth , dad's connection , being in ivy league college , being at the right place at the right time, curroption etc play a big role in someone's success

India is the fastest growing major economy at the moment and for many years now, and this is why many are turning rich and wealthy.

A 1.5 billion population also means the largest market in the world as well. If you have good entrepreneurial skills you can easily succeed in the Indian market.

Those who are vigorous and harder than their hard circumstances succeed and become wealthy and rich.

The elderly, handicapped, widows and orphans, and event the soft and weak can still survive on government rations given freely or at subsidized rate every month.

Yes, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, known as the Iron man of India, was also known for his judgement and excellent work ethics which enabled him to become a successful lawyer in his youth and later on as a political leader and colleague of Gandhi.

In his youth, he used to fast two days a week to build his inner strength and inure himself to discomfort.

You can take Gandhi and Patel as examples.

However you need to get out of your comfort zone.

Siddhartha gave up his ultra-luxurious lifestyle and kingdom to become a hermit, embracing hardship, extreme discomfort and danger, and eventually attained wisdom and enlightenment. If he complained about circumstances like you, he would not have attained Buddhahood or created Buddhism as a religion .

yup . but you cannot deny the fact that few industries exist that have job opertunities . like if you are intrested in physics , there is not enough research opertunities exist . so those who have a passion for physics go abroad.

a lot of factors come into play. like law of supply and demand . if you study MBTI , you realise that only certain types of people can truly run a business. and it is an inborn train

hardwork is not the only factor. generational wealth , connections , using corruption to your advantage (like adani) , being at the right place at the right time, etc all matter. its not as simple as "work hard and you will make it"

for 1 vallabhai patel there are 1000s of others who worked for independence as hard as vallabhai patel and got no fame or honour or money

if i was a prince  , as a son of a king living in 500 BC and i tried to be budha , i will burn out and return to my palace.  if i wont have anything to eat , i will quit my renunciation and return  to my palace.  stories like these are amazing. but they are not for everyone . and they include other factors

Dude, you are saying all this loser stuff and at the same time have photo of the genius mathematician Ramanujan as your avatar.

Ramanujan suffered from heavy poverty and adversity as well, but he persisted in his efforts and is now recognized as one of the greatest mathematicians of all time, and his work has transformed pure mathematics and  created numerous breakthroughs in theoretical physics, computer science and number theory.

There is a major discrepancy between your loser mentality and his champion mentality.

i am speaking from my experience. i am not pulling anything from my ass. i tried to find my passion from age 20 - 27. i found my life purpose at age 27. and i realised i am fucked. india only have IT industry . my parents money will soon end. i will be up in streets. i am fucked

i dont have bachelors , i live in india , everyone have bachelors , i wont get a single job , i am fucked.  imagine a 27 year old guy without bachelors in india. you are an indian , you tell me. i followed leo's course and advice of other american passion gurus and i got fucked really hard. for those 7 years , i wasted a lot of opertunities.

i cannot go for anything i want. as a middle class man , the odds are against me. i am aiming for IT. i am INTJ. i am good in logic. i have a talent for IT.

i found i have a lot of passion. but i cannot chase any of them. the odds are against me.

the best method i found was to go for a 9-5 IT job and follow my passion in my free time. if i go and try to make my passion my profession , i will get fucked really hard. you need to start from a very young age ,.

that is what i am gonna do. go for a 9-5 IT job and following my passion in my free time, the rest of the time
