Just wait and buy second hand. You don't need to play on release. It's an old game you already played before with a new coat of paint.

Definitely hard to justify buying a Switch 2 just to play a remake of a game you've already played, though I'd do it in a heartbeat if money was no object, tbf.😂I'm not even sure how much a Switch 2 costs, but I'm pretty sure it's an eye-watering amount.

They are just getting more and more expensive now. Even the old consoles are getting price raises new in the box. The whole market is shifting. 

Honestly, just get a decent PC and emulate (just buy legal copies). It's the overall best value I believe. You can play a lot of games on your phone too.

Yeah, that does seem like the most sensible thing to do. I checked before, a Switch 2 on its own would cost about £400 (around $535 in American dollars, $750 in Australian dollars ).
