Andrew Tate Says His Online Persona Is An Act

11 posts in this topic

Didn’t he claim before that he had converted to Islam so he could gain support from Muslim people, claim his innocence, and somehow justify his promiscuity because Islam allows up to four wives? Or something like that, haha.

Obviously, these people don’t care at all. They’ll flip back and forth and use as many tactics as possible to get themselves freedom and riches.

And most fans aren’t that bright either, so as soon as they decided they were going to support him, they’ll ignore these inconsistencies as well.

More self-deception! xD

Also, should it even be legally allowed to have the lawyer be a carbon copy of the accused? 😂

In court documents Tate says he's just an actor playing an online character like Ali G.

Lol. What a slap in the face to all his fans.

Nah his fans would say hes just saying what he needs to, to get out of prison.

Its funny because if he did get off he'd 100% brag online about how smart he is 🤣

Hes obviously got money but its highly exaggerated.

Tate fans are as fools as Trump fans.

Tate should be nominated for an Oscar :D

Remember, Tates the type of guy to say "tears rolled down my face but I did not cry."  He's just so tough. Just like all the chumps doing pushups outside the jail he's at, bowing to their savior.

@Leo Gura I have a question about the relationship between being a fan and being foolish. This involves areas in my life where I am a fan.

I am under the impression that Trump supporters are fools largely because they are uneducated, similar to many foolish views in politics. They believe in many less and falsehood as a result, making them deeply unreasonable when challenged on the lies they believe in.

In my case, I am a former Ben Shapiro fan because at the time I was interested in learning how to debate effectively. Ultimately, I discovered that persuasion and truth had very little to do with each other in debates. This is when I started losing interest in Shapiro because his facts are just misleading citations that don't actually mean what he says.

Later on I did look into debating again with an AI. I found this more instructive because it became clear that I would never win a debate against AI. It is designed perfectly to attack every logical error. I learned more about why the truth loses in a debate through this process.

That all said, why would we single out any group of fans as fools? Are fans foolish on a deep level because they surrender their sovereignty of mind? In that case if I were a fan of Leo, then it would make me a fool to simply believe you. In that sense, it doesn't actually matter who I am a fan of so long as the outcome is that I become less conscious, more conformist, and committed to truth due to labeling any idol as the Pinnacle of truth.

Given your concept of a fan, is it possible to have a fan who isn't already foolish? Of course there could be degrees of foolishness.

Now that it's convenient for their legal case, lol.

I did not impunge all fans in what I said in this thread.

However, since you bring it up, in a certain sense being a fan is foolish if fan means that you are worshipping someone or relinquishing your sovereignty to them.

Fans tend to be servile and dogmatic sorts of people. You can appreciate someone's work without losing yourself in the process. Fans tend to lose themselves in the process.

Remember, fan means fanatic. So your question is really: What is wrong with being fanatical?

Do I want you guys to be fanatics? No.

I appreciate Peter Ralston's work. But am I a Ralston fanatic? No.

No good teacher wants to create fanatics.

Unfortunately it's par for the course. There will always be some that idolize. That's kind a problem.

Theres a reason one of the 10 commandments says that you shouldn't worship false idols.

I think its a natural inclination of humans to want to follow someone, those that are aware and have flawed characters will aim to be the someone that people follow. Essentially theyre putting themselves in the place of God for their followers.

If you look at the psychology Tate uses, its all around him being the smartest person in the world, unlimited resources and he can teach you how to get it. Hes a false prophet.

Handing your sovereignty over to anyone often leads to negative outcomes. The best thing someone can do for you is point you toward God, if theyre instead pointing you only toward themselves youre being exploited.

So you are foolish if you think a false prophet can lead you to salvation, but you may need to go through that process to realise you were a fool.
