Part of this work (at least from what I’ve gathered) is to integrate all perspectives as yourself. Not to agree with it, but to realize that that is also you.

I think they like it better wnen you aren't trying. Then if they find you attractive they might make the first move.  I mean at bars when there is that social lubricant called alcohol.  So there's truth to that.   They don't like desperate guys.   However if they don't make a move but slipping the eye..then work your way over.

Outside of bars its rare for women to just come to you.
