One way we would encourage higher quality posting is to tighten moderation around low quality posts.

I think we need term limits on moderators on here maybe.

Promoting the forum is not going to bring it quality, it brings in the masses. Look at the YouTube comments, that is what you’ll get.

Also a lot of the way the forum is governed and the community here is less interested in quality than it is in people who “fit in”.

There were two classically enlightened people who used to post and they both got kicked out for denying god realization / universal love or something. If quality comes from experience, that’s going to have diverging paths.

I’ve consistently noticed posts that I or others make that have more effort or more to chew on get less responses, and usually the responses are nitpicking or trolling.

Any post with a video longer than 10 minutes or more than two paragraphs probably gets a fraction of people actually consuming it.

Yes I was thinking along these lines also. It isn't so simple as more users.

I wish there was some way to transparently signal when a post is critically viewed as higher quality.

It is far easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled.

Trying to curate the forum in your own image I don't think is the right objective.  It is better to take reality as it is and deal with that maturely.

The reality is it seems -- you need a certain amount of drama to make a forum buzz like a sizzle to a steak.  No sizzle no good.  So there is a marketing and entertainment component.  Very few people are impressed by strictly serious or philosophical topics.

Honestly, I feel like Leo needs to make a more conscious effort to promote the forum in his videos. Especially since he doesn't upload as much as of late.

And this is how the organized actualized oligarchy forums.

Start by locking one-sentence exclamation (not genuine question) threads :) I liked to do that.

It depends on what you want the forum to be.  I don't see it this way.  I would rather have more than less people on here.

This just makes me want to stamp down even harder on the users here who paste AI and use it to ghost write their posts!

Everything is ghost writing here - pen in hand. ✍️

Question is, who’s directing that pen is the one question to all our answers. What is that thing, exactly , but everything expressing itself as known, in the instance knowing arises, one with the knowing, and not even ‘with’ except in this conception.

There is only the divine expression, the beloved.

I vote for somehow getting Nahm back

Nahm was an exceptional performer here. Banning him just reeked of ‘ bad for business ‘ mentality.

There’s no need for that sort of competitiveness or fear of being driven out of business. To me, that’s just a low quality mindset.

Simple ordinary “Recognition” of knowing we’re all just unique single facets of the same one diamond is the highest form of human intelligence, imho. No need to feel threatened here. Unless of course the threat is going to become a danger to your life, therefore you must defend against it. But that rarely happens anyway, so….let’s just rise above the jealousy, it’s not real, and you already know that, so what’s with the beef. It’s so unnecessary.

I feel like what's appropriate from my life experience is - Comparison is the theif of Joy . I have experienced that everytime when I compare myself to others I feel like a failure ,miserable but when I see my own progress I feel good.

Yes, this is an excellent observation, it’s the art of what self-mastery is actually pointing to, as you have eloquently and succinctly pointed out. Well put.
