Not sure.

Except I'll restate the point about red pill being much more abstract.

I don't know how they differ content wise.

The red pill stuff does seem like a lot of cope around avoiding cold approach though. I wouldn't be unempathetic to that if they were just honest about that. Pick up is rough.

There seems like there are more higher-ideals in pickup too. Its more lets make life epic compared to the bitterness of red pill

@Ulax Good point. From my POV, one of the biggest problems in the red pill or manosphere, in general, is the far-right aspect of them. We're talking about one of the most, if not the most, dangerous ideologies in this day and age, and I don't like the idea of blending that shit into dating.

@StaraX and sometimes it's not even the Red Pill thinking that is toxic - but the solutions people propose as a "fix" to their problems, that are the real issue.

It is far easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled.

If I were healthy I wouldn't need to use it :>

Why insisting ? If the timing is right and you have enough energy and so arousal the erection will be complete.

I can understand why you see it as dangerous. I definitely agree that a substantial amount of it is dangerous. Particularly due to hateful fiigureheads like Tate and Fresh n Fit.

That said there is a fair amount of truth in red pill ideas, like 40% of it. If mainstream stuff keeps being delulu about how attraction works then its understandable that alternative sources will help people meet the needs.

I think Red Pill is negative in that it presents disempowerment through loss of agency - "It is what it is, I have no control" are some foregone conclusions many reach.

If a worldview repeatedly attributes outcomes mostly to forces outside our control IE biology, female hypergamy, genetics, height, race, social media, feminism, modern culture... it can shift attention away from what you can influence.

At the end of the say - what is one REALLY getting from the ideology? How useful is it to the individual?

I think this is why some aspects of PUA are overall more empowering, in general (some parts are not so good though).

'Tis like NLP reframing that one HAS control to influence outcomes.

I get what you're saying about the lack of agency. I see your point regarding the shift away from what you can influence.

That said, red pill does have a fair amount of agency too. They do focus on taking action to become a high-value guy. It isn't black pill.

Going out late at night often, getting wasted, burnout from work, insomnia, being nervous first time with a girl

My first time I was literally shaking from nervousness and it was the worst thing ever

Very real things that can fuck up your situtation with a women when you're just about to get what you wanted, a simple, and safe drug like Cialis completely eliminates the problem or possibility

Agree there is agency in it, but ultimately because the frame lacerates out part of the systems of social reality, one is bound to run into some interesting conundrums and potential traps 🙃

Wow that was quite the poetic sentence ;).

And yes that is a fair point.
