Want to do psychedelics but can't... :(

11 posts in this topic

Hey guys,

I was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia about 8-9 years ago. And it's been in remission for about 6-7 years. I want to become enlightened more then anything ever. Been meditating but want to do psychedelics. What's a more safe one I could do. I don't want to relapse.

That is quite risky. No one can promise you that you won't relapse.

It's also impossible to know which chemicals will work best for you without experimentation.

The general advice here is that if you decide to experiment, use low doses. Do not take high doses of anything.

I would avoid salvia, DMT, DPT, and mushrooms because they tend to veer into insane territory. But this is just generic advice, there's no way to know until you try.

Doesn't assuming everything is a hallucination seem like a schizophrenic take?

Hey Leo hate to remind you of something we talked about 6 months ago but you once said it took 300k pranayama to get liberated. Do you still stand by that?

In my current Uni situation I've actually got A LOT of free time coz breaks, easy degree, no friends with same interests etc.

I wanted to do more pranayama than 90 minutes to speed up my progress or even get liberated if im lucky. I know 20s are not for getting enlightened but after homework and building skills I have so much time don't have anything better to do. I've decided to do extra pranayama for the rest of Uni before getting a job but I wanted your thoughts?

That is the basic theory of Kriya yoga. I have not verified that claim. It is going to vary a lot from person to person.

But it's a decent target to aim at.

That is not an assumption for me. I have direct consciousness of it. I am hallucinating myself and the world.

But yes, realizing what I realized takes you beyond human sanity. But still, it is not mental disorder. My mind is mentally stable and healthy. Schizophrenia is a serious disorder/condition. Do not equate it with God-Realization.

How long did it take you to reach God-Realization after you started trippin' balls?

That's hard to answer because it depends on how you wish to define things and where you wish to draw lines.

I realized God within 10 trips. But that was a shallow understanding. That was just me realizing God was real. It took hundreds to really understand what God was.

Ohhhh ok

I guess the ideal amount of learning on the psychedelic journey depends on the person then.

While you have a point, I fundamentally disagree.

Schizophrenia is a human invention. There are societies that know no schizophrenia.

It's a way to shut off certain aspects of the human mind.

While it's certainly true that uncontrolled schizophrenia is a serious issue, it's also true that we have nothing in place to actually help and heal people who have it, other than medications that shut it completely down.

I say there will be societies that know how to handle it without having to resort to fearfully shut everything down that veers into so-called insane territory. And that will be a time where actual healing will be possible.

I say so-called insanity will someday be a relic of the dark past! And it's possible to work towards that goal - though risky - by exploring areas of the human mind that have been labelled insane.

Those will be the days our true Creative Powers will be unleashed and we will be able to create a world nobody dares to even dream of! Forget money, fame, power, sex & status. If one knew how that future looked one would do nothing else than work towards that.
