Personally I’d like a girlfriend, mostly because I’m lonely. However most of the girls I meet aren’t people I’d like to hang out with again.

It’s not that they are mean or rude or whatever. Although that not unusual. It’s more that they are not interested.

Like sure they might desire me on occasion. That’s great but they very rarely ask questions. They just talk about whatever they got on their mind.

TLDR: Women don’t make me feel seen, so I’m not excited about hanging out with them.

It’s not that we “need” a partner in the same way we need food or water..but romantic and sexual connection is still a human need..just a different kind of need. For example..you don’t need to read philosophy books.. yet people are naturally drawn to questioning life and searching for meaning beyond everyday survival. That curiosity seems almost instinctive. Animals generally focus only on material survival while humans seek emotional and intellectual ..and spiritual fulfillment as well.

In the same way..the attraction between men and women is extremely difficult to ignore or transcend and  perhaps it was never meant to be. Life can be harsh especially for men and many people feel that having a loving partner provides emotional balance comfort and a sense of completeness.  Men have what women lack : strength and leadership. Women have what men lack: beauty and love. Romance and  sex can significantly improve your happiness and overall quality of life that there is no need to mention it .

Of course everyone has their own perspective and standards. Your partner does not have to look like a perfect Hollywood “10/10” ..but most people are naturally drawn to attractive people That’s simply part of human nature.
