I have actually considered that.

Maybe with a tiny group of people.

Just for the fun. I would show you guys just how to have real fun.

Yoooooo, I've been thinking about going to Vegas someday and this is the perfect excuse to do it! 😁

@Leo Gura just out of curiosity why did you set the minimum age for this retreat to 24, not 21? I'm simply curious about your reasoning behind it.

For the same reason that rental car companies don't rent cars to under 25.

People at that age are not the most mature. The personality needs time to mature.

Makes a lot of sense. Also is getting a kundalini awakening initiated by a guru more dangerous than bad trips? Have you attempted to get a kundalini awakening @Leo Gura? Just curious.

Hard to say. It depends on the individual cases.

That guru magic does not work on me.

It only works if you are dumb enough to believe in it.

Cool stuff. I just read your post now Leo about you not disclosing chemical until in-person meeting. After your retreat, will you disclose the chemical to this community in the future?

“Our most valuable resource is not time, but rather it is consciousness itself. Consciousness is the basis for everything, and without it, there could be no time and no resource possible. It is only through consciousness and its cultivation that one’s passions, one’s focus, one’s curiosity, one’s time, and one’s capacity to love can be actualized and lived to the fullest.” - r0ckyreed

@Leo Gura I meant that they can transfer energy to you and that is how people get initiated for a kundalini awakening. Shaktipat is one of them.

I know exactly what you meant. That's what I responded to.

I've been consistent with doing kriya yoga, the breaths are more deeper, slower, like taking very slow sips of air through the nose.

Sorry that's wrong Leo.

I know personally two cases of people with zero spiritual background, very sceptical and both got kundalini awakening from two different gurus. They didn't expect that at all. Normal people, the one person worked in police the other in it consulting.

It has nothing to do with believing in it.

However, there are probably legal chemicals out there that don't work like known psychedelics that you would only get from labs.

A substance that's studied, legal, has a short duration, and is suitable for these purposes? That doesn't leave many options..

I thought Salvia was more wacky and random like becoming the fan or the chair in your room.
Is it different on low doses?

Of course. It kind of loosens the mind.

Well, if it were Salvinorin A, then Leo wouldn't have been secretive.

Even he said he would try it before giving it to others.

If I remember correctly, it will be a novel chemical that he's been working with some chemists to create it. Most likely, it hasn't been tried by anyone other than Leo by now.

I don't see why Leo would create a bunch of lies just to provide Salvinorin A. It would be way easier and effective not to lie in this case. If he lied, then imagine something bad happening at the retreat; he would be in serious trouble. No one would want to lie about it unless they were in a very desperate position to not tell that it's Salvinorin A, so that more people would try it.

If that chemical is unscheduled, there are probably dozens of unscheduled psychedelic drugs. Why wouldn't there be such chemicals?

It works, in rare cases though, I didn't believe in any of this stuff at 16 and it's how I had my first awakening.

A pretty seriously life altering one at that.

I think he's keeping it secret because Salvia can be very dangerous and he doesn't want to glorify it.

It's absurd that you think Leo is inventing new psychedelics. He already said that the substance has been studied, so it must be somewhat known. You can't give 20 people a new, unknown substance that only he has tested.

What's absurd about it?

The chemists would be doing the technical side.

The absurd would be him telling the chemists how to do their job.

He himself said that it's experimental. It hasn't been tried before.

He could have at least said that it has been used, but he's not going to say not to glorify it.

As long as the novel chemical doesn't have any negative side effects physically, then I don't see why it can't be used. Perhaps only for psychological side effects, but that can be said about other psychedelics too.

It's too petty to lie about such a thing.
