Please explain why there has to be an Absolute Truth?

18 posts in this topic

Why can't the Universe be made up of relative truths, with no real Absolute Truth to grasp onto? It's as if I'm searching for something that doesn't even exist. I must contemplate this further.

Before you even start you have to ask yourself what the "absolute" actually means in "absolute truth", and why it's different from "relative".

The future can be real. The future can be again.

It's like asking: "Why has there got to be pizza? Why not just slices of pizza?"

The World Is Illusion.

Only Brahman Is Real.

The World Is Brahman.

If there were only relative truths, that would be an absolute.

"Finding your reason can be so deceiving, a subliminal place.

I will not break, 'cause I've been riding the curves of these infinity words and so I'll be on my way. I will not stay.

And it goes On and On, On and On"

This brilliant dialogue with Jed McKenna explains it in about 15 min in the most simple way possible using logic.

There is only one truth: you.  You are the truth, the truth is you. Just open your eyes and see the truth. It's in your heart, it's what you are. Any limit prevents you to see yourself, the only way to see yourself is breaking all limits. Without limits, only one truth is: you

Whatever is, must be some way. Whatever that way is, must be the truth.

If you say it is no way, then that is the way it is, so you still got truth.

Reality isn't no way, it is some particular way. It has some kind of nature. For example, you have a human body, not a dog body. That's how it is. It's like that for everything. Everything is what it is and not otherwise. The moon is round, not square.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

If the absolute truth is that there is no absolute truth, that'd be the absolute truth.

It's a self-loop that always leads back to Truth (is-ness).

Heh. The only thing God can't do is escape itself.

What if you are in a war zone and seeking desperately for god to get you  out of there but you are sieged?

There can’t be an absolute truth because absolute truth is already being.

A relative truth about the absolute is absurd.

Relative truth doesn't always hold. If it did it would be absolute. But there is something that is always true. Since you were born something about you didn't change and can't.

God can't hide from itself. But it can convincingly appear to. Appearance. All this here is appearance. God's game. I am this, right? No! I am the undisturbed that contains every disturbance that ever arises.

I dont mean it in the relative sense.  God can escape itself via illusion.
