Psychosis is when everything becomes true.

11 posts in this topic

Psychosis is when whatever you think/see/hear becomes true. Think about the implications of that.

- Think: There is butter in my ass = true, its true because you thought it.

- Think: Im the smartest person on earth = true, its true because you thought it.

- Think: You are a demon = true, its true because you thought it.

Try to put your self in that situation, of someone in psychosis. All that arises is true.

There is no self to correct.

With out the self all is true all the time.

Think about what truth to you really is in the end.

How is this post just me acting out my ego in the usual ways? Is this post just me venting and justifying my selfishness? Are the things you are posting in alignment with principles of higher consciousness and higher stages of ego development? Are you acting in a mature or immature way? Are you being selfish or selfless in your communication? Are you acting like a monkey or like a God-like being?

I have experiences of the dissolution of reality and mind, spiritual emergencies and states of consciousness so radical that I just wanted it to end. I can confirm that whatever you think actually is reality, not just a thought. State of Consciousness is crucial because a thought in a ordinary consensus state is mere images, feeling in the mind, but in those higher states, my goodness. This is why mindfulness and meditation is so freaking important before you venture off into those radical states of consciousness because your thoughts become reality. You become supernovas and black holes and all kinds of crazy stuff.

Truth is literally what is actual. If your imaging being kidnapped by a kangaroo, that's literally the truth right now

This is true for me, and I am not saying it because I am psychotic right now, but because I have a lot of personal experience with psychosis.

I tend to steelman everyone and everything - even total nonsense. And when I am deeply psychotic, any and every thought that pops up in my head is treated as truth.

While it may seem counterproductive to personal development, I think temporarily putting yourself in a state where you steelman everyone and everything you encounter can have its benefits. If you permanently put yourself in such a state, you will end up like me and start having breaks from reality. However, I think everyone could use a break once in a while.

If I am listening to the news and hear about a deadly police shooting, I could easily start to believe that I was shot to death by police. If my therapist is talking to me about how he cut down a dying tree in his yard, I start to believe that I am a dying tree in need of being cut down. If I am reading about a character in a book, I can easily start to forget that I am not that character.

You just have to be careful not to delude yourself into thinking that everything you think is the truth especially in the relative domain of survival. Always be cautious and aware of self-deception and developing metacognition, this is why epistemology is so important and why Leo stresses it as well.

Terrifying.

It happened to me some time ago due to a gastrointestinal infection.

Literally, my paranoid thoughts were becoming true!

And at that time, it really breaks you when you think that psychosis might be your new normal.

Interesting thought. We must not forget that psychosis is more in alignment with delusion/deception than it is about truth/consciousness.

“Our most valuable resource is not time, but rather it is consciousness itself. Consciousness is the basis for everything, and without it, there could be no time and no resource possible. It is only through consciousness and its cultivation that one’s passions, one’s focus, one’s curiosity, one’s time, and one’s capacity to love can be actualized and lived to the fullest.” - r0ckyreed

It's true for what you have said, psychosis is like being lost and you have to find your mama again. That's why non attachment is so important to progress further, people that have loving relationships/marrying/attachments to material  and so on will have much harder time. Leo should actually teach how important it is to not have relationships in this work, because progression in consciousness requires you to have no attachments, the more attachments you have the more difficult and painfull its gonna be.

At the same time its what prevents people from establishing in higher states of consciousness where the thought literally manifests instantly. Nowadays you will notice thoughts or reoccurring thoughts manifest more quickly because reality is speeding up and or you are speeding up, its showing you how reality works and that the higher we rise in vibration, the more quickly the thought materializes into form. Hence why in dreams or dmt states, manifestation is instant, giving you a peek of whats coming.

So while we like to amplify ourselves with substances and other means, if we aren't stable and grounded within, we can manifest chaos. Most of us are still in "training", cause the higher the consciousness / power the greater the responsibility.

I would say Everything is Truth...

But some truths are relatively true or relatively false and that there are degrees of relative truths.
