Deep Pain (Deeper Than Depression) - Dr. K

44 posts in this topic

This resonated on a very deep level.

I think when I say that I am a very emotional being, I don’t mean in an overly emotional, immature way. I mean in a way that I feel things very deeply, including pain of others.

Anybody else too?

Yes. We are in pain right now. And it's going to get worse before it gets better.

But that's Okay. These are birth pains of God.

I might have this too.

I'm not sure though. I think i have mental health stuff, and i also get ragebaited on the internet all day, so my negative emotions might come from  that lol.

You watch much Dr K btw Miguel?

There is no failure, only feedback

One small step at a time. No one climbs a mountain in one go.

Hmm. I basically never get ragebaited on the internet. A skill I have developed from years of self-development and self-reflection.

I basically never watched his stuff other than if he was forced in my face. But lately I have been consuming him more intentionally.

The world is going to get very dark for a while. I can't tell you specifics, for I don't know, and that's how it should be. But I sense it. So prepare & embrace what's coming. It will pass eventually but it will test our faith in ways it never has been tested before.

It will require us to ascend to a new stage in the Evolution Of Humanity.

Fear not, but learn how to SHINE, so others are inspired to do so as well.

The stars appear brightest in the deepest darkest night. That's where real Beauty is being created. That will be our great burden & honor.

You are blessed. I used to be also like that

You are blessed, nurture that and take care of your health. As soon as your health declines, your ability to feel declines too

What are you so deeply hurt about?

I don’t get it.

There was a comment that said they had a word for it that translates to “world pain” in German. World pain does resonate to me in the sense that I am concerned about where humanity is headed. I feel like we are so disconnected from each other in the real world but this could be a reflection of my current situation in life.

I would equate world pain to boredom too. I feel like even with all the technological advancements and AI, I still feel bored to the T. Like, god fucking damn, I bought a fucking flashlight. Who the fuck buys a flashlight? I wanna go in the woods and take a walk at night. This is how fucking boring life is right now in 2026.

Can’t we throw our phones and computer screens away and spend more time with each other in real life?! Maybe none of us would be feeling this deep hurt thing. Real life communication, companionship, friendship and experience. This is what we lack and secretly crave IMO.

To end my little rant here, you have to define what you’re hurt by otherwise you wouldn’t know how to fix it. I guess you’re dealing with something that is out of your control? Maybe we should learn to let go of things we cannot change. Accept reality, adapt and move on. Or be the change you wanna see as they say.

When you were a child, you mostly FELT the world rather than THOUGHT of it in any real capacity.  That child still lives in you, so you're allowed to go back to the basics and take pleasure in the simplest of things.

A big part of it Is  that your biology changed and you're not having the same high as you did before.

You could still get that high back, but you have to have mastered biology. This is no easy feet.

How is this post just me acting out my ego in the usual ways? Is this post just me venting and justifying my selfishness? Are the things you are posting in alignment with principles of higher consciousness and higher stages of ego development? Are you acting in a mature or immature way? Are you being selfish or selfless in your communication? Are you acting like a monkey or like a God-like being?

What does the boredom feel like?

I really struggle to relate to people who feel boredom. It is not something I ever experience. Unfamiliar to me.

Maybe it is because I am fairly minimalistic in habits and living.

The deep hurt is self-alienation.

Every person with neurodivergency has the deep hurt, since being neurodivergent means alienating neurotypicals.

The question to ask yourself: does your inner child ever think such a thing?

No concept of biology, genetics, shifts in mood.  I'd bet my money that despite whatever your genetics are, you never knew nor cared as a child,  That's the ticket.

I remember the quality of high of all my experiences of my entire life and all the subtle changes over time. LIke a time machine.

I can go back in time and review the quality of every experience i ever had. Emotions, color vividness, awareness, blood flow levels, temperature, thoughts, motivations, values, insights, ego development, the lived experience of having that body. The fantasy that was happening at 5 or 6 or 10 or 15 are all captured in memory with the complete memory of the full body awareness of what if felt like taking a breath at 20, having lungs filed up with air and doing a backflip, the blood pumping through the viens.

I can see how the high changed over time.

Most of the child high was free premium biology that we all took for granted.

If you want to get it back your best bet is to sleep 12 solid hours straight of premium sleep or take LSD.

Or fix any health issues you might have.

The biggest factor is chronic inflammation from bad air, poor sleep, poor diet and no exercise that compounds over time destroys the high we are build to have.

You just cant substitute perfect health with mindset.

How could you be minimalistic and not be bored? Sounds paradoxical to me.

Do you really not seek a different experience after the 1000 times you’ve done the same thing over and over again?

What excites you? Don’t tell me your casual everyday routine is exciting to you.

The deep hurt is AIR QUALITY.

You are breathing toxic hormon blocking air 24/7.

Psychologist are lost in reductionism.

I cant believe he rambled on and on for 20 minutes not questioning basic assumptions.

NO you are NOT healthy.

Lost in conformity.

But ok i cant even get Leo @Leo Gura to acknowledge air quality has any effect on him. So the conformity runs deep. :D

Raising Consciousness is ultimately what brings back that childhood intensity. That's why Tolle talks so much about sensing the Aliveness in every moment, in every particle. Even the bible says "unless you change and become like little children you will never enter the kingdom of heaven."

Apart from all the practical stuff we can do for physical health, learning how to actually feel all the way through deep emotional pain is a skill that hardly anyone was taught growing up. Joe Hudson is definitely on the leading edge of those who are helping people to fully heal emotionally. Underneath is a process that I found really valuable. @Miguel1

Dude, I don't deny air quality is a thing. What do you expect me to do about it? Live on the moon for some unquantifiable and unknown effect?

You have no idea if air quality makes any meaningful difference to someone.

Yeah, my casual everyday routine. Because it's never, ever the same. There's always a surprise. Always novelty.

Most people just fail to see it.

CO2 review — Indoor Air, 2020: A review of 37 experimental studies found that elevated indoor CO2 — whether from adding pure CO2 or from reduced ventilation — can impair multiple cognitive functions. Wiley Online Library One referenced study found 15% lower cognitive scores at just 945 ppm CO2, and 50% lower scores at 1400 ppm — levels that are easily reached in a bedroom or small office with the door closed.

^ This is just CO2 levels.

All studies connecting brain function to -> CO₂, VOCs, formaldehyde, PM2.5, cleaning products, fragrances, laundry detergent, temperature, humidity, low oxygen, secondhand smoke, candle smoke, cooking fumes, mold, lead, flame retardants, pesticides, BPA, noise, lighting, radon, toluene, EMF

This is quantifiable!

  1. CO₂ / poor ventilation — up to 50% decline
  2. VOCs (building materials, paint, furniture) — up to 101% lower scores
  3. Formaldehyde (pressed wood, insulation) — 17–21% greater impairment risk
  4. Indoor PM2.5 — 0.8–0.9% slower per 10 µg/m³
  5. Household cleaning products — up to 3.59× odds of decline
  6. Synthetic fragrances / phthalates — 3–7.6 IQ points lost
  7. Laundry detergent / fabric softener — 25+ hazardous VOCs emitted, no direct cognitive study
  8. Temperature extremes — 2% per °C above 25°C, up to 15% at extremes
  9. Humidity — up to 11% decline in hot-humid conditions
  10. Hypoxia / low oxygen — up to 36% drop in processing speed
  11. Secondhand smoke — 2–5 IQ points, 44–70% higher impairment odds
  12. Candle / incense smoke — significant drops across memory, processing speed, executive function
  13. Cooking fumes — 18–30% higher decline risk
  14. Mold / mycotoxins — impairment comparable to mild TBI
  15. Lead — 2.6–7.4 IQ points lost, no safe threshold
  16. Flame retardants / PBDEs — 3.7–5.5 IQ points lost
  17. Organophosphate pesticides — 5.5–7.0 IQ points lost
  18. BPA / microplastics — up to 2.86 IQ points (BPF in boys)
  19. Noise — 2-month reading delay per 5 dB, significant memory impairment
  20. Poor lighting / dim light — up to 42% lower cognitive scores
  21. Radon — 21% of self-regulation variance, Alzheimer's correlation
  22. Toluene — altered brain connectivity at WHO-limit levels
  23. Electromagnetic fields — no significant effect (WHO review)
  24. Wall color — task-type interaction, not a deficit

There is no need for a any of these studies, self experimentation and observation easily shows this, there needs to be a epistemic desire.

Yes i do. I have run hundreds of experiments on my self and others and connected dots people have no idea exists.

Dr k was told from birth that his checklist makes him healthy, epistemic mistake. So he discovers deep pain a reductionist blind spot. A guru will say its spiritual, more reductionism and lack of holism.

They are partly right.
