In contrast, on youtube there are multiple experts, who were former high ranking officials in the government and military.  They all say without exception that the Iran war was a huge mistake, America is in big trouble, the world economy could collapse, and that Iran is winning the war.

One thing for sure is that Iran is not winning. It's getting destroyed systematically. And even though it's dealing "unacceptable damage" to the US and Israel and the world, that's no going to affect the route that has been already drawn.

And holding the world's economy hostage and attacking the infrastructure of gulf states is not a valid response to war, under any circumstances. It's literally terrorism. Most of us had nothing to do with the war, and yet it's affecting each and every one of us. We are hurting because of Iran, not the USA or Israel.

The iranian regime is dying and it wants to kill everyone with it. Suicidal bombers. That's who they are. Terrorists. And after seeing this, I would definitely rather see them destroyed than having nukes and threatening the globe.

It sounds like you are just listening to the Western media.

Actually, most of the Western media that I've seen so far is against the war, whether pro Trump or against him. And this is the direct result of the terrorist closure of the strait of Hormuz. The Iranian regime has no way of defending itself except by pressuring Trump through causing a global economic disaster.

And as I said, most people have nothing to do with the war. However, we are suffering its consequences caused by Iran.

@Jirh "One thing for sure is that Iran is not winning". Nobody expects them to win, the country has been crippled for decades by the Western nations, led by USA. They only now had the resources to get into Uranium enrichment processes, I personally believe it was done with help of Russian power.

" holding the world's economy hostage and attacking the infrastructure of gulf states is not a valid response to war," - I guess their survival instinct has been kicked in when all this escalated in January and February, when USA decided to send their Navy to Persian region for what exact reason(?). To which they responded with controlling the sole trump card they own, their military intelligence is dogshit, thanks to the sanctions on their economy (mentioned in the previous point).

In war/battles/fights, it is only right to use the higher ground, which can been seen throughout history. Few examples like General Pogandas using Ravines and Hill tops to stop enemy's army movement and hide his troops behind the higher ground. Additionally, i dont correctly recall the details, but in USA civil war, there was this fortress which was impenetrable, the forces against the fortress eventually captured the fort but cutting of their water supply. These might be miniscule examples but the pattern remains the same, the most oil hungry nation in the entire world is the USA and this fort cannot be taken over by mere forces. I am NOT justifying Iran's actions, rather it is the nature of conflict which have occurred in the history of civilization.

Most of us had nothing to do with the war,  - Genuinely want to know what you think USA and its allies main goal was, when they attacked Iran. According to many liberals western tabloids, it was said to be Another Venezuela, a distraction from Epstien files. I do not know what the conservatives thought of it because they were ignoring Epstien files and blaming previous Administrations, "DOW is above 50 thousand" XD. But yeah, was Iran an immediate threat from your point of view?

Laslty, you label the Iranian actions as terrorism, according to their perspective, the IRGC at least, USA is the terrorist who comes to their homeland and starts blasting stuff.  The GCC are the terrorist for the IRGC because they help and shelter USA's military on their land.

The war was started by Trump and Israel committing two war crimes:  1) unprovoked attack with no imminent threat, and 2) perfidity.   These are the parties you can blame.  Iran's actions are self defense and yes - the global economy is going to suffer.

Perfidity is a war crime under international law.  Iranian officials have characterized the initiation of strikes on February 28, 2026, as an "act of perfidy" because they occurred while nuclear negotiations were purportedly ongoing. They argue the U.S. invited their confidence in a diplomatic process only to use it as a cover for a surprise military campaign.

I am Iranian and I hate the Iranian regime more than you trust me. But dont get brainwashed. There have never been suicidal bombers out of Iran and there was a nuclear Deal in place during Obamas Era, where Irans Atomic facilities were closely monitored by the IAEA and the enrichment was only 3.8 percent, extremely low.

Who did tear up that deal? It was Trump on behalf of Netanyahu. So dont spread false information regarding a nuclear threat. The threat was never there and besides the terrible Iranian Regime you have the Terrorists in Israel that occupy the government and the hypocritical Americans and Europeans that talk about human rights but allow the Israelis to exterminate Palestinian and Lebanese Families throughout various decades.

Be honest to yourself, and dont see this war as kind of a liberation mission, because a Terrorist-State like the USA and ISrael can never be liberators, they are the main reason and supporter for a huge portion of the misery in the Middle East and unimaginable atrocities against Tens of Thousands of little innocent Children.

When you say survival instinct, you make it sound like an innocent unconscious reaction, like a knee jerk reaction if a tiger jumps on you and you have no will or choice but to react. But clearly this way of responding is the Iranian regime's conscious choice after much thinking, and they are still choosing to keep this terrorist act every day.

Ultimately the goal is to eliminate Iran's projection of power outside its borders.

Why now? Because it's perceived as the best time to do it.

Who's the terrorist? All of them. But at this particular point in time, Iran is terrorizing the entire world.

It's not self-defence when you attack civilian locations, civilian airports, civilian oil tankers, etc...

Self-defence is attacking aircraft carriers, USA military bases, Israeli airfields, etc...

The U.S. likely only has two weeks of interceptors left, this means we are OUT, we cannot continue the war one day longer, and China is preparing to take Taiwan. Israel is about down to needing to use nukes. No U.S. ships will stay in the area when interceptors get too low(tomorrow): so, far less air assault (jets need the aircraft carriers(bombers need jets for protection))(and no more missiles from Destroyers(they're protected by interceptors)).

The Iranian regime can accept a high level of destruction, but they cannot be defeated by force. The US can cause chaos and famine among the civilian population, thus legitimizing the regime forever. Then, why saying that stupidities so ashaming like a civilization is going to be terminated tonight? Trump and hegset are so ashaming and retarded that seems impossible that anything successful or positive for west can happen in this war

I do worry as well that nuclear weapons will be used soon. They will probably use nuclear warheads as bunker busters first and minimize it then who knows.

This timeline is getting crazy. If Taiwan gets invaded, $6 a gallon gas prices will look like a good scenario.

Such a stupid religious war, both sides are nuts. Netanyahu seems himself as a messiah and the IRGC as martyrs. Can we just make this reality pleasant to live in or is that too nuts of an idea?

Car and computer manufacturing will be hostage to China. U.S. will have to do whatever China says: so, Cuba, Venezuela,..... It's checkmate when combined with the U.S. debt crisis. Start planting your vegetable gardens, fellas....

Nukes are only really useful against civilian populations, wide area of destruction. They'd probably just drop a couple on Tehran. This isn't like Japan in WWII though, Japan started that war. There's no incentive for Iran to submit after nuclear attacks, it's more reason to just fight.

actual commodity oil is up to $150 already

Trump is raving like a mad man showing that he is increasingly desperate that he is failing.  Leaders in control are calm.  He is also providing evidence that will be used against him in his impeachment and prosecution for multiple war crimes.
