I think this case is very important and touches on a few corner stones issues we're dealing with globally right now. International law, mass surveillance, predictive law enforcement, rule of law, and the power of government the people. If the current laws can't stop a pedophile felon potentially murderer from becoming the US president and moss powerful man on earth then clearly the system is a bit broken and needs a revamp.
