USA is cooked, I absolutely cannot believe people laughed at me when just a year ago on this forum I said anyone who doesn't leave and has the money to do so is insane.
 

It's impossible for them to hear no matter how many warnings they get. No matter how much evil their governments do overseas they can't ever imagine it coming home. They even defend the system saying it's the most superior evolved and turquoise system that exists.

Anyone outside who defends themselves against the evil or criticizes it is backwards or worse a terrorist. It doesn't matter if you originate from a vast ancient and long standing civilization, if you have something bad to say about the West (EU is horrible too and you would be a fool to not escape, not just US) then your entire civilization that you come from is just a bunch of corrupt animals that need to be controlled. 

It's a hard case of Stockholm syndrome. No evidence will change their mind. It's actually impressive the level of brainwashing that is possible.

It's time to stock up on all kinds of guns and ammo as much as you can.

What does that actually mean?

Are you talking about individual self defense or some kind of resistance? Against trained forces with intelligence, logistics, drones, vehicles etc. How would this realistically play out without you ending up dead or imprisoned?

I am not sure yet, but if we come together as one then we can all figure out how to do it through civil disobedience while bearing arms.

It’s clear that the Trump administration is intentionally provoking violence.  They want a response that they can exploit with their propaganda machine, some say, in order to have an excuse to suspend elections.   Trump is losing popularity fast. A better approach is to focus on regaining political power and then have real accountability.  All of the criminals of this administration have to be prosecuted and forced to account for their crimes.  Everything needs to be documented.

Two points I wanna make here.

Firstly, the official training for police officers when somebody tries to use their car as a weapon against you is to GTFO of the way. Shooting the driver is considered the worst option because, as you can see from this case, it only makes the situation worse because the car is now accelerating but in a completely uncontrolled manner. 

The only time it's considered the correct move to shoot the driver of a car is when the driver is shooting a gun from the car themselves.

Secondly, in a situation like this, you have to give the benefit of the doubt to the untrained civilian panicking and doing something slightly stupid, not to the (supposedly) trained law enforcement agent. They are expected to handle situations like this professionally.

Yes, she probably should have stopped and got out of her car. But when you've got what essentially looks like two 3rd world paramilitary operatives with guns trying to get into your car because you accidentally drove down the wrong street, your body will go into fight or flight mode. Because of this you'll do stupid stuff.  "Get out of the car" being yelled at you could easily be misheard as "Get out of the way" plus all of your instincts are telling you to GTFO out of there as well.

She was probably looking at the dude to the left trying to open her door and not at the guy to the right in the front of her car, she may not even have seen him when she was trying to drive off. Fight or flight gives you tunnel vision.

The core issue here is that ICE agents are untrained. Any competent law enforcement officer would have handled this far better. This is a case of an untrained officer escalating a situation with a panicking civilian. There is no reasonable interpretation where the woman is primarily at fault, and certainly none where an instant death sentence was justified.

@Kid A @something_else it was a slippery road surface, it was very irresponsible of her to act so reckless, that one guy could have easily have his leg crushed. The thing is that being police is a very difficult job because they are putting their lives in danger for stupid people's safety. I can imagine that guy's flight and fight being activated on that slippery ice. I mean I would never do that job but if somebody tries to crush my leg you are going to catch some bullets. No way a court is going to sue that ICE. It is very unfortunate for that woman and I hope her gf and family the best. Obviously she was going through a lot with divorce and kids but this was not the moment to have a hissy fit with slippery ice in the mix. Some people don't have a clue that cars can be dangerous weapons and things go so fast that after the fact it is easy to judge but in that moment you don't know what could happen with such a fast heavy object moving on ice.
