There is a distinction between Awakening and cognitive development. Awakening is much simpler than cognitive dev. Cognitive dev is the rational, post-rational stuff.

You can get Awakening by just sitting for a long and literally not thinking. Cognitive dev requires lots of careful thinking.

Basic kinds of Awakening do not require cogntive dev. But the deepest kinds of Awakening do.

Start investing 1h/day to learn stuff that you really find interesting.

If you lack fundamentals, start small on middle/high school teachings on math, physics, chemistry, biology, history, logic.

Chess is a viable path to learn about life, decision making, analytical thinking, focus, memory, attention, strategy, emotions, visualization.

It would be interesting if you mention it in one of your videos some time, for people to know, I'm thinking... (where you need and where you don't necessarily need the cognitive development).

Im guessing its something like this - am I right? To get rid of suffering I am fine with the basic kind of awakening. To know the ultimate answer to all questions about reality - I need the deepest kind of awakening and therefore also the cognitive development.

Your physical and psychological needs need to be met to make steady progress. Anxiety needs to be under control and that's not really possible until you feel taken care of.

Also, nothing wrong with being a housekeeper! That is actually great work for spiritual development. What do you think monastery residents do all day long? Cook, clean, garden, etc. A simple life is a good one.

@Hello1Awakening dosent end suffering. You need to pay attention and do mind stuff to stop it. Its funny but when you Come back down you still have the same problems, your mind dosent change beside knowing you are God.

It might end the suffering from fear of death, but other things are the same. You need to do mental work to change, but that work requires no knowledge of math or physics.

Mental work jut means paying attention to ego and feelings and relations to them. Awakening is detcahment from ego, when you detach you an fix it.

Hardcore yoga and meditation can take you pretty far without much cognitive dev. But most people will not do it.

You don't need crazy technical cogntive dev, just basic notions I teach are enough. You don't need to get into all the fine detail that I get into for myself. I get into extra detail because I teach this stuff and because for me it is a passion.

If you have basic construct-awareness that is good enough for normal folk.

OK so let's not cook around the Bush any longer ..everybody who's reading..you guys knows who's Nahm which his real name is Phil ..he was kicked out of the forum basically because he was trying to jump on Leo's back and become the number one authority here and also sneaking in links to his own website and youtube channel Actuality of being which is a total carbon copy of actualized.org ..which is honestly one of the gayest things I have witnessed in my life ..not the mere fact of having a guru business but just why copy Leo.  Anyways he is not just some clown or scammer he actually knows what he is talking about which is a different thing than saying who's right him or Leo about certain things ..

And if she does, if she leaves a cookie poop all over the forums again, will you continue to eat it? Maybe Pretty India/Reena is Leo, maybe Leo plays a lot of these roles, who knows  I know all about Leo and Nahm, and while Nahm used to be spiritually balanced, now his stuck on the high end of the sea saw, and forgotten how to drop down and relate to real humans with real emotions and challenging experiences. Few members he already sent into psychosis from terrible guidance.

A spiritual master is able to meet people on all levels, not only from the high lens that has forgotten to acknowledge and nourish its roots or body. This is why Nahm has nowhere near the fanbase as Leo, because creation prevents that, cause its dangerous. 

Leo saw this and took care of it before it was too late. Can't blame him. He did what was needed. 

Now back to pretty india/reena, this is obviously something that triggered you, and will continue to trigger you until you rise above it. The universe is always sending you the test or challenge to see if you fall for the bait, and what you do, keep eating the bait.

But he is not doing this purposely .he is not intentionally pretending that he can't relate to "down to earth " language anymore . He REALLY can't relate . He is literally a millionaire and he's basically meditating or relaxing  in some mansion in the woods or some tropical island. He literally told me "I'm living the best life ever because I choose to not settle for garbage ". Also he told me all suffering is  conceptual ..basically "just thougts "..and he doesn't think in his spare time nor dreams at night and if you put a brain scanner on his brain it will go flat line..there is no thoughts in his head .he doesn't get that there are other people who are not living the best life ever and are not as conscious as him.

It seems that people who are unaware of their cognitive development don't see how much they are limiting their awakenings.
