Another attention seeker, the guy is rich, why else do what he does? I don't buy that he really wants to help ppl..

I remember years ago when I watched his stuff on the regular, he was with that blonde girl, and he wrote a book about success (Own the Day, Own Your Life I think was the book), I didn't order it, but I found it funny how years later, after breaking up with the blonde and other events in his life where he reveals he was out of it, and not well and going in the wrong directions and such,,I find it funny when ppl write these types of books, proclaim to be it, but are not in reality.. At least he admitted it and was willing to share, but I don't buy into him really at all,  I think he wants attention, maybe has some narcissism issues and he's too new agey for My taste:)

I am with you here - I am not about the old mate Aubrey. I can easily acknowledge when podcasters are correct, but he just don't jive with me

It is far easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled.

I am glad that there is Teal, it is pleasant to encounter a spiritual leader who is not a man.

As a young woman on a spiritual path, looking at someone like Teal gives me an idea of what I could be and what I could strive for. It gives me hope. I see myself a lot in her, she feels like a more polished version of me.

My impression of her is that she is a prophet, a truth-teller, a woman who has a divine role that she has accepted and owns. She is very confident in this position.

I also sense a prophetic presence in myself, but like many women with this gift, I accept it reluctantly.

I see it more as a burden, something that attracts negativity toward me and puts me in risk, which I can’t emotionally handle, yet I also can’t help it and can’t be someone I am not.

On the other hand, like many people, Teal confuses me because of some people’s claims about her narcissistic behavior.

I don’t know whether people say this because they envy her and feel threatened by a woman in power (a very intelligent and attractive woman, which may be intolerable for many people in our close-minded patriarchal society, in comparison to a man with the same gifts), or because they are genuinely trying to expose her true nature.
This is very crucial, because vulnerable people in vulnerable states are drawn to her and if she is a narcissist, they can be easy targets for exploitation.

I don’t know if it will ever be clear to me.
But it doesn’t interfere with my enjoyment of her content or my appreciation of the value she brings to people, at least for now.

Like with any spiritual leader, it is always important to be conscious, not to give our power to any authority, to think for ourselves, to be exposed to various teachings etc.

The problem with Teal's work is that she deals too much with traumas and I think for most people and many people, they are unable to break out of traumas no matter how many lessons they took.

What I feel lacking in Teal Swan's work is more positive action language!!

A lot of her videos are like "society gaslights you here, this is projection, this is shadow, etc etc"

Even though I really like New Age spirituality and I think there are many interesting ideas there

My favorite authors are Shakti Gawain and Alan Watts😁

The new-Age therapy speak is crazy.

Only if someone teaches them what and how to provide it. Our dear feminists and gender study delulus do not teach this. Because that might send a feeling of women needing men's help and reinforcing traditional gender roles.

Yea, we got something better than traditional gender roles, we have some lost men who have no clue what motivates them, what makes them happy, so they fall asleep in a never ending boyhood. Women can stay single and enjoy their time with their girlfriends, but men suffer alot because of this post-modern nonsense.

Men want to be heros and women desire heroes. If you don't let him be a hero, then he won't be a hero. He will be a villager, or even worse, a villain. Now some men want the statute of the hero but without fulfilling the duties of a hero. This is a recurring issue. This is why women complain so much about men. "You want to be the head of the family but you behave like the ass of the family." Most women complain for a good reason. They subconsciously challenge them to step up.

Men want to do more for women than they do for them. If you don't let them do more, they will do less. That sense of duty of being the hero she calls when in trouble, that kind of "pride" motivates them to actualize, that pride motivates them to let down those videogames and shit.

Men actually stay in trenches for months, eat rats, die there. Just so they can feel that sense of duty and freedom. And that happened in every tribe and country for millions of years maybe. That shaped their biology. To say they want to split duty and difficult tasks 50/50 with women is stupid.

Challenge and duty develops men, not just talking about feelings and shit.
