Do You Feel Restored After Sleep?

36 posts in this topic

Hey 👋🏽 have you tried magnesium glycinate chelate capsules 400 mg? Give it go before bedtime, it's what I use and this version out of all the other magnesium supplements is the best because it isn't so laxative on the stomach, promotes restful rem sleep, muscle recovery and I feel amazing in the morning. Check your local whole foods market. You got this. Sending you love

I feel like a lobotomy patient in the morning when I take those.

What do you mean my muscle soreness and heaviness?

High performance athletes sleep 12 hours a day. 8 hours of sleep won't restore you physically if you're doing a lot. Oftentimes it takes me several days recovery, from doing some prolonged strenuous activity. Do you ever have rest days?

It could be prolonged fatigue, maybe you need a break.

@Elliott

I was awake for 21+ hours with a flu finishing my thesis two days ago (even threw a workout in), and today I had to sleep 5 hours in the middle of the day despite sleeping 7-8 hours last night 🙂

Could be parasites. If so, try Oil of Oregano.

You can go to a sleep doctor and get a sleep study done. They will monitor your sleep and tell you if there are any problems happening.

It costs about $1000 for sleep study.

What a scam, where I am it’s like 200€ and the 3/4 is reimbursed by social security.

It boils down to your brain waves. When you sleep your brain waves slow down and if your brain is not slowing down you will get shallow sleep.

Look into proven methods that slow down your brain waves like certain breathing techniques, playing with your optimal sleeping time, meditation before sleep, etc. Other things you might want to try: play with temperature, air quality through air purifiers, humidifiers or dehumidifiers.

Recently I bought an air purifier and that helped me a lot. Even though my air was already clean there is always some dust mites or something.

$200 is a regular office visit.

In France it’s 20€ and it’s totally refunded in some days by social security.

It’s a but strange but I have known people who drink coffee to improve the quality of sleep.

Me too! Also that evil antihistamine phenergan. If I take that I won't be fully back to reality until 4pm the next day....
