Reverse osmosis water - dangerous

I agree you could find uncontaminated mineral drops and that would be great. But most of them are contaminated because there distilled from lakes and rivers. The one you mentioned ConcenTrace is contaminated apparently.

So what's the alternative?

his line of thinking is wrong and exactly why I made this post.

The way the body uses water is more sophisticated then that. It's not about your body storing nutrients and so you have enough of it. The water itself has to contain the nutrients preloaded and there's no exceptions. It doesn't simply "drain your body of nutrients" if you drink un-minirelaized RO. It's far worse than that.

I made this post to explain you need thorough re-mineralization or you gonna have symptoms.

Ok, but what are you basing those claims on? "I tried it and felt dryness in my mouth"?

So far i found this, Re-mineralization filter, but i have not tested it yet, it is a higher quality version of the normal remineralization filters people use. The default ones that come with machines isnt that great and can lead to improper remineralization.

So basically a half hearted attempt at reminerazing will also cause issues and if you use drops basically your sometimes getting MORE toxins then before. The arsenic level in some of does mineral drops were 10x tap water!

Trial and error, self-experimentation and observation is the most important epistemic tool a person has!

Other main tool is scientific research and this is a corrupt for-profit nightmare to navigate.

If you want AI to repeat the stuff i said it will find the scientific research that supports it.

But the scientific community doesn't recommend drinking RO water with out remineralization, so these claims are supported by science.

But my insights that come from years of actual work investigating is more valuable then cultural consensus.

Next tool is mass reports of people who tried it. You can ask AI to give you reports of other people who had issues switching to RO with improper remineralization and what there experiences are.

So truth requires epistemic diversity and strategy.

Most people who only focus on "what the science says" have 0 strategic thinking.

What data says and how to apply that data in practice requires holistic strategy no one appreciates.

How is this post just me acting out my ego in the usual ways? Is this post just me venting and justifying my selfishness? Are the things you are posting in alignment with principles of higher consciousness and higher stages of ego development? Are you acting in a mature or immature way? Are you being selfish or selfless in your communication? Are you acting like a monkey or like a God-like being?

Good to know, thanks. I made the mistake of neglecting remineralizing before and it's no fun. Not for long, but enough to notice. Then when I did remineralize it didn't feel quite right either, so I gave up on RO.

I hope you find something that works for you.

My family has a hut 600 meters above sea level in the mountains next to a smaller ex-microglacial river. When we used to fill a water tank by pumping water straight from the river, I loved the taste of the water in our tap, like you could taste the mossy flavor. It was very sweet and maybe even a bit sour. Now we use water from a spring which is different tasting, probably more carbonate-tasting, but it's probably also good water.

So this stuff is toxic. It is not safe to drink unless you carefully re-mineralize it.

If you drink straight reverse osmosis water without re-mineralization, you will get dryness of mouth, especially when sleeping and constipation. It could also trigger IBS and chronic digestion problems it also lowers thyroid hormone.

I've personally thoroughly experimented on this and done a lot of research. There's lots of people who have very similar issues with drinking it without mineralization. Main problem is constipation, IBS and dryness of mouth.

So I'm writing this as a warning if you're thinking of getting that purest water possible.

There's some good re-mineralization options, but I don't know exactly how effective they are and they likely add toxins back into the water sort of defeating the purpose.

So the goal is to re-mineralize without adding the toxins back in. Just using salt for for example, first of all, doesn't give you the minerals you need and also salt is just boiled down water so you're drinking concentrated toxins and mineral drops have the same concentration of toxin problem. Most re-mineralization attempts defeats the purpose of the RO.

This looks like a better alternative, but I haven't tested it. Re-mineralization filter. And it's criminally expensive.

The biggest misconception is that you get enough nutrients from food and so the water nutrients don't matter, this is absolutely wrong. Do not believe this for a second.

The water you're drinking, impacts your body at a much higher level than food does. An air quality impacts your body at a much higher level than water does.

AIR > WATER > FOOD

That’s informative. As a gesture of thanks, I’ll share this quick conversation with my AI. This will be my 1st post in this forum's subsection in 6 and 1/2 years:

I have been drinking 3 cups of matcha per day for a few months now and it has been magical. I was surprised I stopped craving coffee and sugary drinks. For context, I have been a coffee addict for more than 10 years and a sugar addict essentially my entire life.

When I lived in Japan, I was fit without effort. But I gained significant weight after returning to my home country. Now, I'm fit again without extra effort. The significant reduction in sugar made me lose significant fat.

Another magical part is that quitting coffee and sugar felt effortless. It’s MATCHA MAGIC: Zen Buddhism’s best gift to the world.
