Atheism is not a religion but it is a stubborn worldview/paradigm.

In a sense he is abiding by your teachings because your teachings emphasize direct experience.  God is a direct experience.  So until he experiences GOD defaulting to atheism is the best position.  You and I were both that prior.  Where he does falter by saying he didn't understand or resonate with your teachings is that he isn't taking up spiritual practice such as meditation or psychedelics.

@Daniel Balan have you?

Is conforming doing spiritual practices? I don't think so.  Because you can be curious as to whether God exists so exploring all avenues isn't conforming.

That's fine.

Not asking people to believe in God.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

@r0ckyreed yes there is another kind of atheism.  It means if you exist show yourself otherwise to me you don't exist.

But the true open minded atheist in this regard would be willing to do spiritial practices for God to be revealed.

He cannot be stuck to one paradigm.   He cannot be paradigm locked. As long as you aren't paradigm locked you can change world views as it becomes apparent to you.  Flexibility is key.

@Inliytened1 I have a mediation practice where I meditate 10 minutes everyday and I also try to observe and be conscious of my thoughts 24/7, like I'm trying to meditate non stop, but in regards to psychedelics I have a strong stigma against them. I have this stigma because I don't like to conform. Almost all the youngsters in my village are taking canabis and lsd and shrooms on a weekly basis and honestly they look like homeless and I am disgusted by them. I have a image of myself as being clean, well groomed and taking care of my life and myself and whenever I see the youngsters in my village spend all their money on psychoactive substances, seeing them how they let themselves go and become total zombies made me abhor psychedelics as much as I abhor religion. As I am the only atheist in my village I think I am the only one that has never taken any kind of drugs. All the people my age or below are drug addicts and precisely because I hate conformity with such a passion, I vowed to never ever touch any substances in my life.

Then stay away from the substances but increase meditation to an hour a day.  What is your meditation practice? 10 minutes is not enough.  Stare at your hand or find something in the room to stare at for at least an hour.  The consciousness dial will slowly ramp up.  Until a shift occurs.  But you should also be doing self inquiry.  I'm not preaching these things from a place of conforming all I am claiming is that God exists but you won't know if you don't explore.

@Daniel Balan The problem is God exists. Atheism is the rejection of the existence of God, not christianity. Which is why atheism is wrong.

Even though, does this "God" care if a speck of dust, like me, believes in god's existence or worships "God"? I think this god couldn't care less whether I worship it or not.

Watched the video and I generally liked it. Could gather some gems.

The way Leo talked about his intelligence which has become greater then anyone elses over and over again, whether true or not, became old at some point and I imagine it would sound incredibly arrogant to new viewer.

I can see that also. For myself I try to understand why he is adding that frame? What is at stake? Is he using it to attempt to qualify? Because much of these statements he makes aren't actually required: the content speaks for itself. So generally I view it as sneaky ego.

Just an honest critique as I enjoy Leo's content a lot, but as with us all, sometimes our ego sneaks in without us being fully conscious.

It is far easier to trick someone, than to convince them they have been tricked.

Yeah, this video was definitely for us who are already fans. My girlfriend wanted to check it out after I sent her the link when she asked what I was doing, and she has never seen any of the other videos. I was not happy about that after seeing it!

It is arrogant and it is based on a very loose inference.
