These were the last words passed down through Christ through Master Jesus unto the Essene Brotherhood, take it how you wish, the heart knows the truth.

Cool I am glad to see a Christian being a Christian! Reminds me of the grass outside having a blast being grass. Then it dies & none of it mattered or was real in any kind of absolute way:D Just like all the other stories we tell ourselves. I gotta admit Christianity is a juicy one.

Dude go out and do serious rigorous epistemological study. Once you have spent 10+ years learning stuff contrary to your worldview come back and preach Jesus to us all. You're living in your comfort bubble and aren't questioning anything seeing everything through your Jesus lense because it's safe and you don't have to deal with the difficulties of understanding life for what it really is. All this Jesus content is sickening honestly. Grow up.

@TruthFreedomYou understand christianity came after Jesus died? Jesus isnt even a Christian he has nothing to do with Christianity. It didnt even exist while he was alive. If Micheal Jordan died and then I randomly said Micheal Jordan died for our sins and I am creating a religion to worship him that he has nothing to do with would he have died for my sins? Or would it be a massive grift?

Jesus would return and Christians say our saviour. He says what the fuck are you talking about I have no idea what this religion is and have never been a part of it.

Then he would say did you go into the forest for 40 days with no food or water and battle satan? And you would say no I didnt and then Jesus would say you didnt follow me at all you followed some made up bullshit.

But Leo, have you ever explored Orthodox Christianity, its basically the eastern version of Christianity and closer to eastern religions. There is also the state of "Theosis" talked about, which is the becoming one with God.  

It is the religion of your ancestors (as you are of Russian descent), so it might be in your DNA sort of speak. Jordan Peterson and Alan Watts are two big figures which talk about Orthodox Christianity much differently than the western sects of Christianity. 

I do my investigation of direct experience honestly, but I am not quick to reject the religion of my ancestors as total bs. Maybe some of it, but there might be deeper truth there.

Some people are such know-it-alls that they have closed their mind to other possibilities.

For your information, I've studied epistemology and all kinds of philosophical ideas,

But they left me empty and apathetic.

Can you open your mind to the possibility that someone may have had a religious experience which you have no context on which to judge, because you've not explored what they have.

As for Leo, how come no one is calling him out for being immature?

Orthodox Christians are full of themselves. They are just a different kind and come from a different culture.

There's no such thing as Christian DNA; it's just brainwashing if you stay in it from childhood.

However, Christians are Christians because they have belief in Jesus. They are too lost to question themselves.

That is not popular among Orthodox Christians.

You may find some very open-minded stuff, but that doesn't mean it reflects on how religious people are and how the religion operates. Even if it's talked about, it doesn't mean they know what they're talking about.
