Which protein powders can you safely use that don’t have lead or heavy metals? Does this even exist?

This topic comes up again and again, but I guess new products come out so you gotta update.

I thought I started this topic a year ago or so. I am feeling old.

I got tired of looking so I just bought pure heavy metal powder to skip the middleman.

A cup of lead a day keeps the worry away.

xD

Bryan Johnson sells some. All his products are third party tested for heavy metals.

No one is criticizing Bryan for healthy eating. We are all on board for that.

@Leo Gura Right, says the dead guy.

I know you have experienced altered states you consider equal to death. Infinity and all that. But, you also eat healthy because you want to live. So, it’s sneaky.

You know, I’ve experienced a thing or two. But, I don’t say I’ve died. I can’t with a clear heart say that.

Well, that just means you haven't died yet ;)

@Leo Gura Or, I am just bad at remembering my trips. Which is unfortunately the case. I struggle to recall the state, and I also am wary of any conclusions made. I've definitely experienced infinity and ego death. But, I wouldn't call that death.

BUT THAT isn't like I was shot in the head and died. Well, in theory I have died an infinite amount of times. But, none I can recall.

according to this guy, they are still well below the EFSA's benchmark dose.
He basically says that the lead contains several times lower than the lowest dose needed to
cause any kind of harm long term??

I don't know, anybody know whether the lead contain is as dangerous as it seem?

If you consume it regularly, any amount will add up and be bad.

You can try taking 1 activated charcoal pill with each protein you drink. That should soak up any heavy metals from gettimg absorbed into you.

where do heavy metals in protein powders come from?

It looks like lead arsenate was the most widely used pesticide, only becoming illegal in the u.s. in 1991, but soil is contaminated forever. The protein source, soy and peas absorb lead from the soil, cows absorb lead from their feed, a lot of protein powder sources coming from even more polluted china. And industrial processing equipment obviously contains some lead, probably even more common in China.

Maybe it's not just the roids
