I pick it because it is truly alien. It is more alien than a green man from Mars.

Aleinness is not about creatures from other planets. That is superficial. Alienness is alienness.

To be honest I relate to a lot written here and have even experienced this myself through my self inquiry and life events unfolding (except the alien stuff mentioned).

I will say this, why choose to create fear? If you are not a human (this is sort of like a set of clothes), what’s so wrong with that? I just don’t see any point in creating fear. It’s understandable and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it though. A military UAV (I’m in Russia) exploded by my building today. I chose fear so damn fast. I don’t think I’ve created so much fear in my life, maybe one other time on my ayahuasca trip. 

it was as if I felt worthless and like I’d have been better off if the bomb dropped on me, like I lacked value and was cut off form everything. 

After taking some time to breathe and going for a walk to calm down I noticed the pattern. This human side we have wants to rush to be small or little or blunt itself from what you guys are calling infinity, because in a mistaken way of reasoning it thinks it can keep itself safe in a childlike innocent way by making itself small. The truth is nothing can ever diminish us even if some challenge does indeed come along which hurts our body or affects our lives in a way that’s uncomfortable. We are born with innate value. You can become directly aware of it: it’s hard to put into words but it’s sort of like you become aware that you are beaming down from heaven where nothing can or will ever hurt you. There’s nothing to really fear about what you call infinity, I call the Tao, but from our human life there are things which do threaten us. So all we have to do is lovingly guide this side, let the infinity lead. This is where life becomes peaceful and acceptance comes in, and you can accept with grace even if it is no easy feat that you could have your life end due to a bomb dropping on you. 
 

I feel much better now, I’ll be fine beyond this life

@Leo Gura, I cannot imagine that in my normal state, because I cannot escape familiarity entirely.

However, on DMT, things get quite alien. Though, I haven't had a big enough dose to go fully alien.

By the way, I was trying to say that people are inclined to think of the word "alien" as a creature and not as an unfamiliar experience. I wasn't saying that you are using it wrong.

The ultimate Truth is that you are EVERYTHING. But as a human you try to act otherwise, which is what creates all the psychological problems. You don't want to accept EVERYTHING. You don't want to accept your True Identity because it is literally death by Infinite Love.

That is why you are alive at all. If you accepted INFINITY you would already be dead.

This is not about meaning. This is about surrendering your fear to accept that YOU ARE EVERYTHING.

You do not need meaning. You need to realize you are INFINITY, and INFINITY is LOVE.

You don't need meaning because you ARE Infinite Love!

What you fear is Infinite Love! Which is just Yourself! Your biggest fear is just Yourself! Ta-daaaa!

You are infintiely big and that scares you to death.

How could I possibily know all this?

@Leo Gura damn Leo this was very very precise to what I've died to 6 years ago ! And yet I run from it and still crave it , it's a weird feeling that I wanna be dissolved by love but also running from that infinity..

What you said is true , I've died to it couple times but not completely....it was unfathomable! I was panicking everytime I start to yell and scream and curse people and curse everything 😂 it was pure madness but it really felt nice , felt like paradise , since I was seeing both darkness and light was one thing in different forms 

Nothing mattered anymore but the problem is after the shrooms are gone you are back into the illusion of this world with a wounded ego a dysfunctional ego which doesn't have a desire to live ! How can you overcome that ?

I could interpret your question that way... and see you as doing what I've always tried to do in order to differentiate myself from others.... to be the identity that is special and rare among all other identities. It's to be the rarest and most valuable book in the library.

But maybe you mean it in a wiser way that actually reflects great humblings to your identity of being the rare person who wants Truth. And instead, you recognize that you don't really want Truth when you're faced directly with it.

That is what I realized. I want to live the illusion and be the avatar... and to have preference for one thing over the other. I want to be like a simple Hobbit who is born and dies in the shire and lives a finite life of great meaning.

Perhaps you ask this question because you too are admitting that you are alive because you are choosing to persist in the mundane human life because you do not really want to love and accept all things... and you recognize that you are still alive for that very reason.

Or perhaps you're saying that because you want me to know how special and different you are to prove yourself to be a more coherent book than others.

It really could be either one.

The book he’s working on already exists in that library. That’s pretty cool!
