You have to imagine, electricity cost is substantial for the first one built, now build 1,000 on the same grid, not only will costs go up, but competition does and therefore revenue declines as well.

Interesting. Though I have been corrected just today, actually, apparently we are talking about a common myth.

These data centers are needed to train the AI. To run the AI, a laptop on a battery is fine already.
