Alternatives to water

I have cut out soft drinks for several years now because of the high concentration of sugar and unhealthy ingredients. I rarely drink things like coke or sprite at all because of all the harm these drinks can cause.

However, I now sometimes feel bored of drinking so much water and I crave something less bland. I found some zero sugar Sunkist and drank it. It was a pleasant drink, but I am also aware that just because soft drinks have reduced sugar or are diet does not mean they are healthy because they still contain other terrible ingredients.

I would like to know how safe it is to drink zero sugar soft drinks. If it is not safe, then what else could I be drinking? Sometimes I make fruit smoothies with almond or coconut milk and those seem less bland yet healthy.

What other drinks are acceptable if I am bored of drinking water all the time?

 water w/cucumber, mint, orange slices, watermelon steeped in (overnight is best) can substitute with anything appealing

Watermelon/mint smoothie or just watermelon

I did a quick search on this topic and there seems to be conflicting accounts with some sources saying Kangaroo milk is niche, others saying it is widely known in Australia, and others saying that Kangaroo milk is not typically designed for human consumption. Green tea is a great alternative to water, and it’s healthy too. I’m on the same path. I’m drinking coffee and Pepsi all day along with water but I know that the only liquid we need is water. Anything other than water causes problems. Even green tea has caffeine which isn’t great. 
Think of an animal. They only drink water. We should be doing exactly the same.

I drank it. It's similar to coconut water.
