The 46th and former President of the United States of America, Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. (D), has been diagnosed with an 'aggressive form' of prostate cancer which has spread to his bones.

My exact thoughts. If he had hypothetically won in 2024, then we would have currently have an 82 year old president with cancer who (according to numerous people in the Biden WhiteHouse) was not nearly cognitively fit for the job. And yet, he refused to step down and allow Harris to take his spot, even after being shown polling date proving how dire the situation was for him, until Pelosi basically bullied him to resign from the election race.

Yeah, I thought about that. Although, FDR died in office at the beginning of his 4th term as president even though people around him advised him not to run for another term as president in 1944 because of how crippled and sick he was getting.

A majority of people in 1984 thought that Reagan was too old to be president, yet he ran for re-election in any case back then and won in a historic landslide victory along with completing his entire second term as president. 

Besides, I don't understand why people didn't keep in mind that even if Biden has some sort of health crisis that Harris would've immediately taken over as president.

Neither was FDR in 1944 and Reagan in 1984. Yet, they made it work. 

I also think they should've let Harris campaign a lot more for Biden starting in the very beginning of 2023.

Can’t claim to be a Democracy, support a party literally called Democrats, and yet absolve ourselves of the actions taken by those WE democratically elected into power.

The dude pardoned Liz Cheney and didn’t pick up the phone once to even “attempt” a diplomatic resolution in the Ukraine-Russia war killing 100s of thousands - one of the bloodiest wars in modern history.
