Build a tribe
Build a tribe@supremeyingyang Be careful what you wish for.
First you build a tribe.
Next they love you.
Next they overthrow you.
Next they go killing other tribes.
Next they dominate and oppress the world.
Your goal shouldn't be to create a tribe, but to help people in some way. Don't turn the means into ends. That's like saying: my goal is to become famous. That confuses the means for the end.

Impact statement - Please Help!
Impact statement - Please Help!@SaltyMeatballs Don't confuse growth as a human being with LP.
Yes, of course every human being's job is personal development. That's the whole game of life in a nutshell.
But LP is not that. LP is about your career and your creative output.
Regardless of whatever LP you end up having, personal growth will still be part of your function as a living being. So don't worry about that. You can, and must, do both.
You need to rephrase the question to this: What creative contribution do I want to make to the world?
Notice, your own personal growth is not that. That's for you. But what are you doing for others???
Flipping burgers at McDonalds?
That's the default you will get if you don't figure this out.

Decisions decisions
Decisions decisions@Nathan I like eating bacon and getting my balls fondled by a hot lady. It feels right. But a life purpose this does not make.
What do you want to CREATE FOR THE WORLD???

Buying stuff appeals to the ego. So is selling anything ethical?
Buying stuff appeals to the ego. So is selling anything ethical?@Brandon Nankivell we are here to live our lives and enjoy all of creation. We will all be “back” where we came from soon enough. Connect with your authentic self, follow your conscience, enjoy your life. Promote what you genuinely believe in. Promote what brings your tears of joy. You are not limited. It’s all an illusion anyway, a great big circle jerk of relativity. You get to decide how it’s relative to you.

I Reached The Absolute & A Perspective On The Path To Enlightenment
I Reached The Absolute & A Perspective On The Path To EnlightenmentKundalini is a very technical topic and there are dozens of different systems for working with it. You can spend your whole life exploring and mastering just them.
The mistake, I think, would be to get wrapped up in debating which system is rightest or bestest. Do some basic research on which systems exist, then pick one and stick with it until you start seeing results. Many of these systems can be extremely complicated, and for Western minds, they can be hard to swallow. Since these systems originated in India, they are designed to resonate with that culture, not Western rationalism. In India, as part of their culture, they expect you to take a lot more stuff on blind faith. So the mistake for Westerners would be overly-analyzing the systems, arguing about the metaphysics of it, trying to reinvent the wheel, trying to mix and match parts of various systems, etc.
I think with something like Kriya Yoga or Kundalini Yoga, you don't judge it too much. You accept it on blind faith, work it every day for a year or two, and ONLY THEN you judge the results. If you're not willing to do that, then I would say, don't bother. These systems are not going to "make sense". They are just supposed to work. And you might be shocked at how effective they are when executed rigorously.
The whole key to success in yoga is RIGOR. You execute it to the T every day and then you get your results. Yoga is not something to be deconstructed or "understood". This is hard for most Western minds to accept.

What Is Stage Coral In Spiral Dynamics???
What Is Stage Coral In Spiral Dynamics???I can say what the spiral stages of turquoise and coral looks like from stage yellow, turquoise and coral but not explain how to understand them.
Turquoise from yellow: looks like unrealistically accurate visionaries, like they have destiny on their sides, master storytellers
coral from yellow: looks like genius-level in everything they do, unreal impact on their surroundings
turquiose from turquoise: life is a rollercoaster you just gotta ride it
coral from turquoise: that’s one hell of a ride
coral from coral: it is what it is

I Reached The Absolute & A Perspective On The Path To Enlightenment
I Reached The Absolute & A Perspective On The Path To EnlightenmentAt some point we have to accept that people will have different takes on enlightenment and personal dev. If we were ever going to get a solid consensus, it probably would have happened sometime in the last 3000 years, don't you think? But it hasn't and it won't because individual minds are too different and access "reality" in different ways. Have you noticed how every single teaching splitners, no matter how enlightened the master was? It happens like clockwork. Isn't that interesting? No two enlightened masters agree on everything. Hmmmm... interesting fact...
The cost of democracy and freedom is that people disagree in big ways. Reality brusts forth with diversity. No one species will ever rule the world.
I think the big mistake that people make (even enlightened people) is that they assume every mind is the same (like them), but consider the possibility that people's mind and realities are as different as their body types.
See my video: Why People Seem Crazy.
Or, you guys can continue waging these nonduality wars. I thought I had a pinned post about that somewhere?
How spiritual can you be when you are wrapped up in questioning other people's growth? Sure, maybe they haven't reaching the deepest level of the rabbit hole yet, and maybe they're kidding themselves on some level, but they know better than you if they have experienced an improvement in their condition. This work is not about becoming perfect, but becoming relatively more pure of delusion. And that's a highly subjective notion. You never know where someone started off.
So the suggestion is: be happy for them when they say they've grown.
Or don't.
I suggest being more mindful of how you contribute to the nonduality wars and ask yourself whether that's how you really want to make use of your limited time here on Earth. I know I got better things to do.

Benhito Massari is (edit: is strongly suggested to be) a Fucking Zen Devil
Benhito Massari is (edit: is strongly suggested to be) a Fucking Zen DevilWe already discussed this topic last week.
Watch your gossip and projecting.
The fact is you do not know any other person's mind. So focus on your own psychopathologies.
Any nondual school can be easily shown as a cult to a casual observer by cherrypicking things.
Nonduality sounds insane to any ordinary person. If you spliced together snippets from all my 300 videos and showed it to a psychiatrist, he would call me an insane dangerous narcissistic psychopath and recommend immediate clinical intervention.
And of course, if Ben turns out to be a Zen Devil, that shouldn't surprise anyone either. Plenty of them around. By now you should be aware of the infinite trickery of the mind. No one is immune. NO ONE!

Resistance Life Purpose Course exercises.
Resistance Life Purpose Course exercises.@Psyche_92 I am not familiar with the course, only resistant thinking. I suggest a night’s sleep, morning meditation, and then write down what you want. Mental resistance accumulates though the day. Practicing mindfulness is useful for this. Sleep cleans the slate and returns us to neutral. Exercise is useful in getting driven, past neutral. Diet is useful in preventing resistant thinking to begin with.

Reading enlightenment books?
Reading enlightenment books?Because you do not know!
Stop assuming you know what enlightenment is, or where it leads, or what your inquiry will unearth. Only then can you truly inquire.
For all you know, enlightenment could give you herpes. And here you are just stumbling into it blindly.
Why would you assume you know a thing unless you've researched the hell out of it? And how can you claim to have researched the hell out of it if you haven't even bothered to read 50 books on the subject?
Would you go to a brain surgeon who hasn't read 50 books about the brain?
Would you hire an engineer to build you a bridge who hasn't read 50 books about engineering?

Morality!!
Morality!!Notice it, be aware of it. Don't be like: OH SHIT I HAVE TO GET RID OF IT! DAMNIT IT'S BACK! The point is not 100% stopping something on a dime because somebody pointed out the limitations of it. You grow when it's time to, when you feel like morality no longer serves you. It's I think a common misconception that when you become more aware, you have to make changes. That's not true. When you become more aware, you may WANT to make changes. And if you want to, it's not something you have to do, is it? If you still want to moralize, moralize your heart out! Just apply mindfulness to it.

Liberalism and Enlightenment
Liberalism and EnlightenmentYou can't help becoming more liberal as you move up the Spiral Dynamics stages.
Because conservativism is largely based on closedmindness and tribalism.

Giving up on self help, ala "transformation mastery"
Giving up on self help, ala "transformation mastery"You gotta stop looking for something to cling to. The answer you're looking for is that happiness is not to be found in clinging. Just like truth is not to be found in meaning.

Why I Don't Do, What I Have To Do? (Developing Discipline)
Why I Don't Do, What I Have To Do? (Developing Discipline)@Phill You need to realize that there is no substitute for action.
How do you develop discipline?
You just fucking do it.
You take that lazy ego and you force it to submit, like a dog.
And if you are too lazy to do that. That is it. You're stuck forever.

Why Plant Based?
Why Plant Based?Yeah the best form of education is self education and self experimentation, its the only way you will find out what works for you. Dieticians just like Doctors are trained to think a certain way so most don't have direct experience from both sides of the spectrum instead rely on what they been taught and statistics.
I went to see my cousins dietician once just to see what she had to say to him, one part i chimed in and mentioned fresh coconut water and fruits to help with his condition and she replied well too much fruits is bad because of sugar and coconut water is high in saturated fat. In that moment i knew this person had no idea how nature and the human body works so i kept my mouth shut and didn't bother.

Did you study religions?
Did you study religions?@egoless I could list all the religions I have studied over the last 35 years but that would be pointless. I was looking for the Rosetta stone, the blueprint of reality, universal truth. I was never seeking out a religion. There is a lot to be learned from looking and studding a vast array of religions and looking for universal laws. I would caution others not to do this. As there are better more constructive ways to cut though reality without taking the scenic rout. Why do I say that ? There is one glaring quality that causes religion and the followers of said religion to go off the rails and derail their life and give control over to others.
DOGMA : a principle or set of principles laid down by an authority as incontrovertibly true.
This quality is self-destructive on so many levels. Dogma is given by authority and is taken as truth. When you add the next component which is systematic repetition then add group dynamics that reward people for "believing" the same things and shunning those that do not. There is also the aspect of altered or enhanced states of conscious for directed purpose. As well as teaching children this before their minds develop. I have to look at this as what it is and not sugar coat this. It is a form of brainwashing.
I have a problem with authority especially religious authority. No one gets to tell me how reality is or how I interact with it or the rules of the game. I look, I find the rules that apply and I act accordingly. That is my job as a individual as well as a collective unity.
DOGMA, limits progress , limits thinking , and teaches people to follow a path someone else created instead of investing in their own mind their own thought process and there own will to truly find what their path is.
I am a mystic
What does that mean to be a mystic? Look up the word and you will get a whole slue of different interpretations none of them hit the nail on the head though.
How I would define mystic is : Through the practice of meditation , exploration of trance states, enhanced awareness or altered states of awareness seeks direct knowledge and of truth , God and or ultimate reality. This attainment comes through seemingly apparent subjective experience. This direct experience is where the understanding and insight comes from. The mystic is not told the truth it is shown directly though experiences. I would argue that a mystics experiences are not subjective but something more.
So what is the core message I am trying to give you?
Seek out answers yourself using all the facility's of your consciousness your mind , your emotions, and all of your senses . Never trust anyone's rendition of what they found to be true from Leo or myself or anyone else especially religion. Learn how your mind works learn how to achieve trance and altered states and enhanced awareness Go out there and experience it for yourself and until you do don't internalize that as truth. EXPERIENCE REALITY DIRECTLY. That is the most authentic and genuine thing I can tell you.
Everything else is a distraction
You have two propositions
Be a spectator and be guided and told limited and controlled.
OR
Be a Active Participant Engage reality on all levels. Test, play, push, and pull and internalize what you experience directly. That is the really real.

Human Relation
Human Relationthe symptom of loneliness has to do with neglect. i found neglect is one of the most undermined forms of abuse. we all have experienced what it feels like to be in someone's presence yet not feel understood or practically invisible like we're an alien who don't belong on this planet and in society. for someone to accept us and have value for us, they first have to have personal value and accept themselves. we all just reflect back to each other what's going on at the subconscious level, so we can learn and grow by seeing ourselves from different perspectives. we're all alone/lonely to different degrees but together share this personal individual experience, since we're all going through it throughout our lives.

Avoiding Fake Spirituality
Avoiding Fake SpiritualityIn my mind it's pretty easy to spot the difference between real and fake spirituality.
Fake spirituality builds up ideas and beliefs and rituals.
Real spirituality crumbles your worldview and forces you to just BE, in silence. Real spirituality is very radical and open. I instantly feel the vibe from the person. Real spiritual teachers are so authentic it shocks you because you suddenly see the sharp contrast between them and everyone else who's playing the ego game.
The person's demeanor speaks for itself.
You can instantly tell by watching someone like Tolle or Sadhguru or Osho that they are not fucking around. They are congruently living in another universe.

Avoiding Fake Spirituality
Avoiding Fake SpiritualityThere are literally thousands of spiritual techniques, rules, myths, dogma, rituals, etc.
Many people take what is convenient for them and use the catch phrases that sound very good to their ego, but most of them end up just inflating that ego to humongous proportions, but never become a true spiritual being.
Classic example is that of yoga teachers that have been "accredited" after 60 days course - no understanding and no model of behavior provided there...
I have "friends" that have been on a "spiritual path" for decades, still, their life is still full of drama, judging, hatred and upheaval.
Another facet of this, would be the polarity between "positive focus" (LOA, affirmations, visualizations) and shadow work (forever dwelling in different forms of "clearing" the subconscious)
Thanks

What Do You Think of the Idea that We’re Already Dead
What Do You Think of the Idea that We’re Already DeadIt's pretty much another strange loop example -- which side is life and which side is death, when there actually aren't two sides? But one has to go full circle to grok that you're no more dead, nor alive, right now, than ever is the case.

What Do You Think of the Idea that We’re Already Dead
What Do You Think of the Idea that We’re Already DeadThe egoic selves that we create are an illusion therefore, in a way, “you” or “I” could be considered presently dead.
When “I” had an ego death experience, it felt like I was actually going to die, though physically I was fine. I awakened to find I’ve been in heaven all along.
