Spiral Dynamics Test - where can you find them ?
    You can try this one

    https://www.sdtest.ru/en/result.php?res=8455

You don't need to give your actual email if you don't want.

it tells you what % of each color you are-
    mine said
    13%purple
    20%blue
    13%orange
    6%green
    26%yellow
    20%turquoise
(0% for the ones not mentioned)

no idea how accurate this is; I thought I would be a lot more green. I think the best way to know for sure where you are is to do more research on spiral dynamics, think of good examples of each color, and then decide for yourself where you fall.

    Questions about the Consciousness-only Model
Consciousness is unlimited, so it creates every possible thing, the same way that a gas will expand to occupy every corner of its container. But consciousness has no container, so it just keeps creating forever.

For those of you into Kriya, I would highly recommend that in addition to reading the original Kriya book I suggested, you also read the books of Santata Gamana. I now prefer his more simplified techniques. It's a much more streamlined version of Kriya which I think will be even more effective. I found too much needless complexity and variety in the other way.
Right now my technique stack is very simple:
Mahamudra x3 Kriya Pranayama x24 Kriya Supreme Fire x3 One-pointed Concentration for 5 mins Eventually, with lots of practice, you should aim for something like the following stack:
Mahamudra x3 Kriya Pranayama x36-x72 Kriya Supreme Fire for 10-20 mins One-pointed Concentration for 10-20 mins (Bonus: Yoni Mudra x3) (Bonus: Kechari mudra) EDIT: ideally, do this stack twice per day. But if you don't have that much time, at least once per day.
Don't attempt to do this second stack right off the bat. It will not be sustainable. You need to gradually build up to it, like with heavy weightlifting.
I think the original book I recommended is still very good as an introduction and foundation because Gamana's books are so short and thin that they do not provide enough information about Kriya to a total newbie. They are aimed at people who have already been initiated in one school or another.
If you are strictly following the original book, that is okay. You can keep doing that if you want. Or you could switch to this more streamlined version like I decided to do. I don't like learning too many complicated techniques. But that's just me. Both ways should work in the end. It's mostly a matter of style. Although I actually think the streamlined version will end up to be more effective because it concentrates your limited time on the most powerful techniques, and less time is wasted on learning new complex techniques.

Can someone help with what 5meo did Leo use?
It was lab made hcl version, the toad version has some visuals and is therefore not so straight forward to infinity like synthetic 5 meo. But of course both are same effective. This is what I heard, I never used these substances

The world of dating and relationships is shallow.
    @Outer
I've actually found the complete opposite is true, especially with women. They're extremely liberal when it comes to looks and money.
It bothers me when I see guys believing this because it's such a jaded perspective. And being jaded basically means you're unconscious, unhappy and covering up for past wounds.

    Shamanic Breathing Mega-Thread
Wow, I just got done with 45 minutes. Anyone who hasn't done psychedelics, and wonders what they feel like, this is as close to a psychedelic experience as I've ever had without taking something. Blew my mind.

Fingers and toes totally asleep, tried to make a fist but couldn't. Felt fear at the beginning, like there's no way I could do this. I found that it helped me mentally to Rock myself back and forth with each breath, and eventually that morphed into gyrating around with my whole body on every breath.

Had some childhood memories come up. Kind of like watching an old movie from an observer's point of view. My breaths turned into sobs for 5 minutes or so, but I was conscious to never lose the rhythm of the breathing or the depth. My sobs turned to anger, and I got on my hands and knees and bared my teeth like a lion, which felt awesome. I was talking, making sentences by saying one word on each out-breath. Saying things in this way, like I won't stop. I am not afraid. You can't take me! Just crazy stuff, and I was trying to treat it like an Ouija board, where you try not to make anything happen.

Open eye visuals, almost exactly like a 5-gram mushroom dose, with grid textured iridescent waves. And I'm left with a feeling of positivity, self appreciation and it's sort of like I just got done with a great workout, or did something else that demonstrated love for myself. Just have a feeling like I gave myself a hugeass hug.
That was the wildest all-natural 45 minutes that I've ever experienced.

@Jedd Careful with tattoos. They're mostly just an ego thing. A self-image thing. A monkey-see-monkey-do thing.
Learn to love yourself as you are first.

  9. Soft psychedelics?
    Soft psychedelics?
@TylerJ Get your foundation in place first; months (at least) of daily meditation, healthy clean eating, exercise, yoga, theory, etc. Then try .5g of shroom tea. Don’t rush psychedelics, it can backfire. It’s nothing to mess around with.

  10. Soft psychedelics?
    Soft psychedelics?
i honestly think psychedelics are great for people who dont try drugs. Specially for "Anti Drug" people. Alcohol is poison and Weed can be intense if not taken at the right place at the right time. On the other hand, Small doses of psychedelics would only "Brighten up" your soberness. Its so tricky to explain man but it is nothing to be afraid of. If you're open minded enough to break your paradigm and allow a higher state of consciousness. When the time is right try them. Micro dose weed and see where that takes you because these substances can really transform your life if used correctly.

    1) As you build more lung capacity you should be able to reach 10-15 seconds. Do as much as you can for now and yes your exhales should be the same length as your inhales.
    2) Yes, your eyes should be pointed up at Bhrumadhya during the whole exercise. Pause at each chakra for 2 seconds. You don't have to control your breath during OM JAPA.

  12. Kriya Yoga

Lesson 7: Om Japa in the Chakras
The book on page 84 simply says to go up to the fifth chakra and medulla, then it says to pause twice, once for chakra duration and medulla, and then before chanting as you come back down for the 5th 4th 3rd 2nd and 1st. I don't understand what all this means. Can somebody clarify? It doesn't make sense.

I don't think it matters much. I put my hands on my thighs, palms up.
3 cycles is what the book says.
That finger technique is however good for tracking your Kriya breaths, which will be in cycles of 12. Works great.
    Definitely a must.
Jogging vigorously in place for 1-2 minutes prior to your sit will significantly help clear up blocked sinuses.
It's really easy. You just open and constrict your throat and breath in/out through the nose. You'll get the hang of it in a week or two.

  15. Kriya Yoga

    Practicing for two weeks now.
    Asana
Wow my back is weak. Getting stronger quickly though. I find doing some stretches prior helps alot. I hold most of my stretches for 30 seconds. Swaying like a skyscraper. It is distracting. Should go away.
I am trying to follow the book as much as possible. In the book it states "The hands should sit gently on the lap with fingers INTERTWINED, which creates a neutralization of the current". I know it says should, but it seems pretty important. Everywhere I search on the internet, noone is doing this. Only figure 3 shows this .They typically have their hands on their knees. Leo, if you can help with this one please do.
    Nadi Sodhana Pranayama
I found elsewhere today to count the joints on your hand. 12 per. Right now I am just breathing until it feels good enough which is terrible. Going to test. Should do the trick, I just want to keep distractions to a minimum and keep my focus on the important things, rather than having to count.
Blow your nose prior to breathing. Clear your throat.
    Ujjayi Pranayama
This is not easy for me. The research I found today made sense though. Get good at Nadi Sodhana. then move on to this.
It's a habit. One step at a time.

  16. Keeping the Enlightened state?
    Keeping the Enlightened state?
@Betterself That's very very common. I've had that too.
The reason is goes away is because the enlightenment needs to be deep enough and total enough so that your mind understands the mechanism of the illusion. What is really going on? That's usually not clear after one glimpse. Many glimpses may be required because the materialist/dualist paradigm sits very deep in the mind. It's like your operating system, and it needs rewiring.
Also, the Truth itself needs to be distinguished from the exciting experience or the emotional after-effects. There is a difference between mystical states and insight.

  17. Does Gumbo Exist?
    Does Gumbo Exist?
Weird thought I had as I was trying to explain to myself the concept that "I" or "my self" doesn't actually exist.
    And I thought about Gumbo.
Gumbo is "a stew or thick soup, usually made with chicken or seafood, greens, and okra or sometimes filé as a thickener."
It a conglomeration of things that we put the term "Gumbo" on. You put a bunch of separate measurable things in a pot - and then we call that conglomeration "Gumbo". Yet "Gumbo" is a concept - because actually - you really just have chicken or seafood, greens, okra, etc. together with a base. If you put a bowl of "Gumbo" in front of me, I could reasonably say - "Where's the Gumbo? All I see are chicken, seafood, greens, okra, etc."
The "self" seems to be like that. There's skin, bones, blood vessels, nerves, a brain, neurochemicals, etc. - and then we call this human gumbo a "self".
I saw Leo's video recently where he said there is perception, but no perceiver - which makes sense. I can see that "I" do not exist - and that my self is simply a gumbo of parts that creates an illusion of a self. The parts tell a story of a sell that the parts then believe and act from.
Wondering if any of this makes sense or if there's another metaphor that works.

  18. How to help little people actualize?
How to help little people actualize?
You can start positive affirmations from as early as 3 and ask  questions which promote mindfulness... practise keeping calm through deep breathing and simple yoga stretches... and just being still.... all done in an imaginative and fun way! Talk to her about negative feelings, when she has them and describe them as monsters... we all have an ‘angry monster’ or a ‘panic monster’ or a ‘sad monster..’. they come and go but we don’t need to be afraid of them.... they really are quite harmless once we know what they’re about.  She could draw them, give them a name and a smell and describe how she feels in her body when they arrive. This will help her manage strong negative emotions as she gets older. I have lots of practical tips for all ages as I have just started running classes... love this topic :-)

  19. Was nietzsche enlightened?
    Was nietzsche enlightened?
I think, Nietzsche is all about future and evolution of Homo sapiens.
Imho Zarathustra is about two things:
    1. Post-enlightenment life.
    2. Future of Evolution of Homo sapiens.
Nietzsche tells us what to do after enlightenment, and why. Because humanity will now evolution through conscious effort.
Why he went mad? Coz he couldn't handle implications of deep consciousness work. (My theory)
And he is very harsh towards ego. He is very anti-ego as I see it. He destroys all the harmful values of both materialistic pleasures and Christian naive dogmas, that doesn't help for spiritual growth of humanity, and reevaluates it by suggesting new solution.
Main point of superhuman isn't just self-actualization of one's life, it's gradual evolution of material bodies of humanity through allowing consciousness and evolutionary energy to do its work.
To understand concept of superhuman, one need to read Aurobindo, Satprem, Mirra Alfasa. And also Krishnamurti to some extent. These ppl nailed it, they went way beyond enlightenment and tell us what's spiritual progress is all about, and where humanity is heading to. Enlightenment isn't end goal of Spirituality, end goal is kingdom of god on earth, and that will happen through evolution of body. Also, real Zaratusthra himself, as well as Jesus( though Nietzsche misunderstood Jesus), were all about superhuman.
    Just imho

  20. For People Interested in Kriya Yoga
For People Interested in Kriya Yoga
    Dear all,
I know there are many people in this forum who are interested in Kriya Yoga. I usually don't recommend Kriya yoga because of certain pitfalls. But I recently came across an author, who prefers to stay anonymous about his identity.  We exchanged a few emails and also our books.
I already opened a thread regarding that author in this forum before:
I didn't want to recommend the book before actually reading it. Just now I finished reading his book and I must say that this book is a must-read for anyone who is into Kriya yoga. It certainly busts a lot of myths regarding kriya yoga.  As the author has stated in his book, many people are stuck with the techniques and they don't really let go of those techniques.
I really like the story of kriya yogi that the book ends with; it illustrates the point of the book very well. I will certainly recommend this book to anyone who is into yoga. The book is clear, easy to understand, less complicated than many other books regarding Yoga and puts a lot of emphases on the  After-Effect-Poise of Kriya, which is pretty similar to the 'witnessing' practice that I was doing; in fact, it is essentially the same thing: staying as the witness!
A couple of quotes from his book:

The author has recommended many free resources where you can learn authentic kriya yoga as taught by Lahiri Mahasaya. He has reviewed and even exposed many organizations which teach kriya yoga. So, if you are seriously into kriya yoga, then don't miss this book. Here is the link to the book: https://www.amazon.com/Kriya-Yoga-Exposed-Organizations-Explanation-ebook/dp/B0764HP5L8

  21. Spiral dynamics - What about the evolution of relationships in post-orange phases?
Spiral dynamics - What about the evolution of relationships in post-orange phases?
What your ego interprets as anti-male and anti-free speech is really just compassion and concern for beings and perspectives beyond your own. Which to you looks anti-male because the only way you know how to be a male is by grabbing at things in a crude way.
Start noticing that your perspective is just one perspective, and that your male agenda is just one agenda.
How would you interact with the opposite sex if you actually cared about her well-being? If she wasn't just a means to an end for you?
Rather than looking at the world through the lens of: How do I evolve MYSELF? How do I get my male agenda satisfied? Try looking at the world through the lens of: We're all one community, how do I participate in this community in a caring manner? How can I authentically love all people more? How would I act if I didn't see males/females at all, but just people?
See, the problem with the pickup paradigm is that it's too much about getting YOUR needs met. That's because people get into pickup for that reason: they are very NEEDY, regardless of how successful or confident they appear on the surface. The most successful PUAs are still extremely needy. Their entire life revolves around getting their needs satisfied. And there's nothing wrong with that, but it's a low level of consciousness.
If you are needy, that's okay. That's where you're at. Be honest about your neediness. Don't try to sugarcoat it with stories of consciousness and evolution and being alpha.

  22. The infinite bound supremacy
    The infinite bound supremacy
Study nondual theory. Read the top-rated books on book list in the Consciousness category. And deeply contemplate everything said in those books. That will be the foundation for all your tripping.
Studying quality theory is very underappreciated by people here. Yet it is the foundation for walking the path properly. I would be very lost and deluded without this foundation. Some of these authors have spent ungodly hours and effort discovering all the traps and secrets, which would take you many lifetimes of trial and error to discover yourself. Learn how to stand on the shoulders of giants without becoming dogmatic about it.

  23. Online Resources For Learning "real" Yoga..?
Online Resources For Learning "real" Yoga..?
    This channel here is legit:
There's also a book on my book list that gives you EVERY SINGLE secret Kriya Yoga technique and tells you exactly how to practice them. But it's HIGHLY technical and demands serious commitment to get anywhere.
Most schools of Yoga are secretive and don't share their techniques with laymen. Which is why I love that book. It spills all the beans.

  24. Post Enlightenment Observations
    Post Enlightenment Observations
It has been 2 years since I was "done" as Jed Mckenna would call it. I would like to share some observations I have noticed. I know it is hard to believe someone is really done and you are at a leisure to believe whatever you want. This post  would be worth it if it could help anyone. So here are the observations:
    These effects have remained permanent
1)The mind mostly stays generally empty or a distance is established between awareness and mind. There is no more identification with the mind.
    2)The Body feels very light
3)The memories feels like only a heap of perceptions belonging to no one as there is no self left
4)The sense of self has expanded from being in the body to being everywhere
5)There is a natural flow to life. No more obstruction.
    6) Continuously have to consciously pretend when I am talking to people. Consciously pretending generally goes on autopilot
7)The feeling of no self is like completely nothing being everything
8)Everything feels very ordinary and magical at the same time
    9)Permanent death awarness
10)As the ego is not the self anymore, it is more adaptable and changeable
11)The questions have completely disappeared. There is no more seeking
12)Nothing is taken seriously. Life becomes a play
13)The only think I Know is I AM. Nothing is known other than this. Every other question can be negated as they are just based on assumptions
14)Total acceptance of the present moment. No more resistance
    15) Free will seems to exist but belongs to nobody
    16) Feels like Infinite Nothingness is all there is
    17) Every moment feels fresh and new
    18) SENSE of space and time are gone

  25. Liars everywhere, how to live with them?
Liars everywhere, how to live with them?
    @Stinkyundead
You: They need to be more accepting of me, my wishes, and of reality as it is!!!
Solution: I (meaning you) need to accept people and reality as it is.
Eat your own medicine, that is all. You've externalized the problem, see? Everything you accuse them of, you yourself are guilty of. Hence the anger.
You to your gf: Let's not limit each other.
And then you go and set limits. See?
How do you deal with adults acting like kids? By becoming an adult yourself, which means you stop judging adults for acting like kids. See? You have an expectation that adults shouldn't act like kids. But the reality is, most of them do. Most adults are kids, including you. Notice how you get angry like a kid.
This work is all about taking ownership of your own shit. And it's all your own shit. If you're suffering, you can be sure it's due to your own shit.
Everything is the opposite of what it seems. Welcome of spirituality
P.S. Getting angry and blaming others is the psycho way
