  1. Why not just eat beef/eggs/fish/chicken. Much more bioavailable, and free from the heavy metals (excluding fish, unless it’s sardines or wild caught).
  2. @Emerald Yea or when you’re sitting at the family table, thinking you’re infinity, so what’s the point of the humanness & human conversations anyways. Doesn’t it get pretty difficult living in modern daily human life when you are in infinity mode most of the time, to function and have ‘human purpose’. is it a constant back’n’forth switch from acting human and being practical to going back to being Infinite? @WonderSeeker how do you stick to the ‘human purpose’ when going deep and loosing the grip of the ‘humanness’.
  3. Yup, fascia is very interesting (how fascia can hold trauma, fascia release, functional movement etc). I agree you can't just close it off. Every field you partake in will have corruption, wether it's sportscience, medicine, law, economics, business etc., but that doesn't mean all of it is bad.
  4. Sounds very cool. I like that you're going back to in-person. It feels more grounded to know you also teach in-person as well. Never thought you'd consider that again.
  5. Speaking of economic bias, both my parents are economists & they often recommend ‘Financial Times’ and ‘The Economist’. Do any of you guys get information from these news sources? And Whats the problem with trusting economists? Maybe the bias of ‘more growth is always better’ and ‘we need at least 2% GDP growth per year’ and ‘the market powers are always right’. I might be blind to a lot of ‘economists bias’, but can’t it be a powerful lense to look at the world through?
  6. @inFlow You have some powerful ways of describing meditation & it’s effects, I appreciate that. It gives me motivation to seriously continue my daily practice, as a cornerstone for my day. I do it immediately upon waking up.
  7. @Leo Gura Bookmarked this answer. Very valuable to remember. Changing your internal relationship to reality is the most important, even though materialistic pursuits also has its place.
  8. @Oso If you’re in a city, do daygame/nightgame. When you’re on the move around the city; grocery shopping, in parks, going home from job or whatever you do, and you spot a cute girl, go up to her, say she looks cute, and have a conversation. Be prepared for lotta rejection, but of the many girls you meet, some want to meet you again. Take the lead, set up dates, and at some point you’ll find a sexual partner. The current girl I’m seeing I met in the park, when I was on my way home after training calisthenics. Ofcourse it adds to eat well, train and get lots of sun/natural light; health = looks.
  9. @Leo Gura Seriously valuable tips. Thanks. Can you switch focus between both hands? Can you also shift your focus to other objects in the room (I.e. use that heightened awareness for other objects?) Should you look at them sober or can you add a psychedelic to the experience? What to do when the mind says: “this is utterly useless. Why the f*k am I looking at my hand? There’s absolutely no point and nothing to gain from that.”
  10. Why not sit outside in Nature instead of a closet? Much more connected/grounded.
  11. @Nemra which 2 psychedelics?
  12. @Davino thats a powerful & beautiful description. I had a talk with my mom the other day about what spirituality/metaphysics is about (& why it interests me) and I tried explaining it was about removing the conceptual overlay of thoughts/ideas onto reality, and seeing the present moment as ‘mystical’ & ‘beautiful’. I tried showing her a plant, and explaining it’s about ‘experiencing’ the plant and removing the conceptual ‘plant’ overlay. She was confused and said that’s not very practical, “pull up that plant, it’s weeds you need to remove from the garden”. That reminds me of Leo’s recent ‘Abyss’ post: The mom sitting there in her physical/pragmatic reality, while the child is looking at reality with awe and mystique. Some people ‘get it’ and understand that consciousness has deeper layers, while some (most) people aren’t interested. They’re focused on pragmatism. And it is tough to communicate your interest in consciousness/now/presence to someone who doesn’t get it—they would need a radical recontextualization of their reality to understand it.
  13. @Av2521 Yes looks are important. Health = looks. The healthier you are the better you’ll look. Grassfed groundbeef, butter, fruit, white rice, some cucumber/salad and raw organic dairy as well as raw honey. Lots of Sun—build your solar callus and get tanned af. And train functionally: one kettle bell and body weight. And then, expose yourself to as many women as possible. Women will be naturally attracted to your health/looks/energy and your confidence in yourself
  14. Don’t attach to any girl. Consistently approach daily. Preferably Live in a big city, where you can… Do fun stuff: go to parks to train, go to the beach to swim, shop for groceries, roam around the city, shops — all these places are opportunities for meeting beautiful women. Every opportunity you get: no hesitation, just approach. No excuses. Stay in the convo and spike emotions. Get the number/IG of multiple girls. Lot of them will flake - don’t bother, just simple texts focused on meeting her for a date. Atleast a few girls out of the 100s will eventually be interested. If they’re interested, keep being detached, but try to set up the date.
