@Danioover9000 Im so envious of you. All my life i wished for miracle like that, being able to comunicate with the "spiritual realm" . Yet, nothing of sorts have happened durring all my life..All alone, even on psyhadelics there is just nothing but me, its kinda sad even..

Ever noticed a lot of the time the people who didn't ask for it get it? Do you think spiritual gurus ask for Siddhis? ? Your envy itself might be the very thing blocking you

  2. @Scholar Statements are statements which is not absurd and not untrue. /joke

I get what you are saying that concepts need to be dropped eventually but they serve as useful pointers. Leo's whole work here is based on that and helps many.

So while more constructions won't let you actually understand it can help you find what you are looking to understand.

Medicare for all could easily be supported by only taxing the rich more, so even tho the middle class are gaining more money overall because it's worth it, it's not the best because everyone's gonna be taxed more for it

Also take into consideration the reallocation of taxes from some places into others. Say take away some of our crazy military spending into the medicare for all.

What classifies as ideal? There is always a better 'ideal' but advancing the transition to green is a step forward.

When we're engaged in activities that are connected to our life purpose, discipline and hard work feel very natural and spontaneous. If I'm careless, I can easily spend too much time on my projects and even forget to drink water and eat properly. That's how natural it should feel: unplugging from hard work requires extra awareness.

I don't think this is the case 100% of the time. There are a lot of aspects of projects that may be less interesting than others. Game development for example has quite a rollercoaster.

There are going to be times and days when you might not feel it, but that hard-work, discipline, and big picture thinking is what helps one through those days.

Flowing is a fantastic state to achieve, but I don't think its always practical all the time in the earlier days of personal development.

The deepest realization is not through experience. I guess you're talking about awareness. Nirvana means the cessation of consciousness. It is not a state of mind. Eternal Now is a concept and is strongly tied to our perception of time and space.

    You're getting lost in semantics.

How can you realize that you aren't separate without thoughts and images? Don't all the stimuli go hand in hand with self awareness?

The thoughts and images are just a reflection of a state of consciousness.

When that consciousness changes the thoughts and images change.

Unfortunately, sounds around me were really disturbing and annoying. I could loudly hear all the neighbours making noises and washing dishes. Are you all sensitive to sounds or it was just me?

For me psychedelics can raise my awareness so high it can feel like sensory overload to experience certain sounds so I can see why that could be annoying. It definitely takes some conscious effort if you are in a less than ideal environment.

I say both. Listening Bach on DPT are some of the most beautiful experiences in my life. You can see clearly how he constructed the music in a vertical way. Like a master architect but with sound. Can't really describe it with words and it doesn't make sense logically. He was a true mystic.

Dude! I have similar experiences on psychedelics with music in general.

It feels like a 6th sense, nonverbal cosmic communication of art. I love it so much.

  9. Late reply but thanks for the advice guys.

Doing something not necessarily aligned to your LP to create a financial foundation to then work on your LP, when there's no other option, is fine.

But you have to consider how this project will affect your time in the future. Will you have to maintain it for as long as it exists? Will you have to work on future updates? Will you have to monitor servers and so on?

Ask yourself, once I have made the money I need, and I'm able to dedicate my life and all my time to my LP, will I want to ever have anything to do with this project anymore?

You gotta plan it strategically. Think years ahead, especially if it's a big project like a game.

Thanks to the platform it costs me $0 to maintain and I only have to maintain it for as long as I want, so basically as long as its making me money and I can move on.

@Shadowraix If the game you're developing is something you'd let your own kids play, then I'd say go for it.

You can also subtly mix in Green elements, like meditation background music or wisdom quotes, or make some character look/speak like a guru. Like Yoda in Star Wars, for example. Or there is a settlement of people/creatures that have characteristics of a happy hippy commune, etc.

Good idea! I can definitely add in some green elements.

Can you please elaborate @Shadowraix ? I think that's an interesting observation

Its the fundamental problem with models and its why we need so many models. We have a lot of variation.

If the main goal of spiral dynamics is to map out human growth, you need to cut out nuances if you want it to be easy to follow. Because of this, it can never be fully representative. If you aren't a specialist who focuses on a specific nuance, your model is likely going to be for yourself, or try to fit as many people as possible.

  11. I've had some of my deepest awakenings with music to direct my consciousness.

The old lobby music for Rocket League made me have an incredible awakening by just shifting my focus to it.

I guess the best way to describe it is listen to or experience whatever helps you focus on what you ultimately are, which is what the song is.

We are designed to love music, so that is a great aid for some people.

@Shadowraix I just realized you’re wearing a seatbelt in your profile picture. That’s a good safety practice my dude ^_^

Thanks lmao. It was the most recent picture I had of myself. I think I took it before I tripped on top of a mountain which makes it even better. "Strap in and get ready to blast off"

Do you think there is some hidden knowledge and you can't become fully aware without drugs? I've seen lots of people who did drugs for a long time and they still believed horseshit. Drugs don't open any portal and you become God without any space-time limitations. That's what makes us human.

I and Leo are walking our own paths which include drugs so its hard to say what the limits are without them. I think you can realize anything you realize on psychedelics sober but its often highly impractical unless you are just born spiritually inclined. We must do what we can with the limited time we have in our lives. Its in our best interest to accelerate it if possible and if it aligns with your goals.

Yes, psychedelics are tricky in that regard. I've mentioned it many times that it took me absurd doses to get me out of my materialist rationality mind. So while awakening can happen by " accident" like me who brute forced it, realization is much more effective when done with the proper intent and mindset. I'm just saying thinking that psychedelics only show what you understand is a great under-estimation of the power of a psychedelic induced awakening.

It might be more accurate to say psychedelics mainly shows you where your intent directs. If your intent is to grow spiritually you'll be more likely to grow than someone who does it just for fun or escapeism.

IMO, drugs don't reveal you things that you don't know, maybe you might notice things you didn't pay attention to before. I took LSD two times and every time I felt like a lab rat because I'm a hardcore determinist. Someone who's thinking about love and harmony, might feel like everything is love and harmony. In the end, the experience is highly subjective, just like reality and personal beliefs. So which truth do you want to know?

Two trips is not enough. You've got much to learn. Try 20-30 then we'll talk.

@Shadowraix What if you get a bad trip or the therapist obviously knows your on something lmao? Can’t you get into legal trouble? I’m sure the therapist wouldn’t want to lose their job either haha

Having a bad trip on mdma is something you gotta try to have. It's basically a flood of serotonin and it makes it very hard not to embrace the world in love.

I'm not sure about the legalities so I won't give any advice. Perhaps you might still get benefit in a personal setting though. It would be obvious you are on it. You go full talkative extrovert. Even if you are introverted.
