Your life isn't a dream, it's just your life. If you accept advice, don't believe anything anyone says. If you do, you are automatically an idiot.

Even if it is a dream then why wouldn't you make the most of it? It's all you have.

Even if all of this is really just a block of cheese, still doesn't change anything, you can still make most of it.

Even assuming externalobjecticve materialistic reality exists - then it still would be totally meaningless.

Dream doesn't add meaninglessness.

So make the most of this precious gift. The best game in town. Make your dream the best dream in the Godhead.

Really? You have big ambitions but you can’t make yourself care? Really? Sounds like your bullshitting yourself to me. Either you don’t actually have big ambitions or you actually care & are in denial that you care.

What your mind thinks in any given moment isn’t as important as your mind thinks it is.

My life at 18 was a life of misery. I’m in a much better place at 27. Can’t wait to see where I’ll be at 37.

You care deeply when realizing that there is no seperation between you and reality.

What else is there to love?

Love your career! Love your friends! Love ___________!

@Vasu Jaggi Tell us more. Did you used to care about things? What did you care about before? Are you taking drugs? What drugs? Drugs will do this to you. What are your ambitions?

Hang in there. Be patient. It could take years of hibernation and incubation. Your journey may include a period of apathy or hibernation. So accept it. Trust your feelings and intuition or lack of feelings in this case.

It could be depression or sociopathy. So see a doctor if necessary. Call a hotline. Get therapy.

You sound like a normal 18 year old male. Teenage angst.

Don't rush things. Give yourself and your plans double the amount of time and push back deadlines.

Life is a game. But it is meant to be played.

Dreams will stay dreams unless you work on making them a reality,

if you can’t can’t get yourself to care, are they really your dreams??

when you really wanna do something you’re supposed to be excited about wanting to achieve it, if you’re not excited about it, then you don’t really want it.

long story short I've been contemplating metaphysics deeply from few years and I've now been feeling depersonalization from it sort of. no drugs.
About my ambitions.. i want to contribute actively in shaping the future of mankind and society but most of my energy is taken by my big time loneliness issues, addictions to food and porn , "life's a dream and i need to solely focus on deconstructing it (awakening)" mindset.

Oh totally.

Ultimatelly life is precious/life is worthless is just another duality.

That was reaaaly freeint to me when I realized that 2 months ago.

That "making the most of it" can be really specific to my tastes. So if for me that means chilling and not being anyone special, then thats it. You can make the most if this dream by fully accepting your true tastes. And maybe that is to just chill on a beach. Love yourself and do what you really want without any idea of societys expectations or some metaphysical expectations like "I shold get a lot of experience for my soul" or sth.

Just do what you want. Haha isn't it awesome that you can do that? You can eat ice cream as your life purpose and noone will judge in the end.

Howdy. Maybe stop contemplating metaphysics for a time. Give yourself a break. Take time to integrate by just living or doing hobbies or making friends or getting out of your comfort zone. Pursue self-development with gurus and books. You might be focusing on metaphysics as a way to avoid your real issues which might be loneliness, food, and porn. Focusing on deconstructing is a way of intellectualizing which is a way to avoid emotions. Get emotional. Give yourself 10 or 20 years.

Maybe try taking drugs to give yourself a good kick in the ass. Life is a joke. But it is a joke meant to be laughed at with an authentic laugh. Life is a game. But it is a game meant to played by a committed player for the love of the game. All easier said than done. We're all here together on our own path. You are not alone.

Try the following. Get back to basics. Delete all social media, quit this forum, drink water only, don't smoke, take a multivitamin, get a physical, join a gym, get a workout routine, see a therapist, see nature, hear nature, see water, hear water, sleep a lot on a good sleep schedule, visit family and friends, get outside, hike, swim, etc, get a pet, get a plant, go vegan, do breathing exercises, do yoga, get a job, go to school, get a girlfriend, stop all sugar, caffeine, and salt, set goals, try new things, join meetup groups for loneliness, find 12 step programs for food and porn addiction at in-person meetings, get a massage, get reiki, get acupuncture, etc. etc.

Life is what happens while you’re busy making other plans.

The obstacle is your path. Be well. Be safe. :)
