The UAP disclosure movement is a classic shift in the Overton window - if I am being more charitable (I have a personal strong dislike & feeling of irritation when misinformation and bullshit is deliberate [FU Elizondo]).

They can't just shove such a truth like this up the arse of society without furthering the range of ideas and topics that the public and political institutions consider legitimate to discuss.

@Leo Gura Why isn't your standard for this something like having an undeniable encounter with them, like having a onboard experience on a craft and having a tattoo on your arm or alien artifact handed to you as a souvenir? Your standard for this existing or not seems to be "The government is realeasing ufo videos, I will believe them". Why?

What makes you less rigorous on this topic?

Sure, I love that standard, but that's not going to happen to me so it is not worth having such a standard.

I am not less rigorous. I have factored in dozens of different sources on this topic to triangulate the truth. The most likely triangulated outcome is that UFOs are real. Maybe I am wrong, but this is just where the data points. I have considered dozens of various incidents, eye witness reports, government programs and cover-up behaviors, military witnesses and whistleblowers, official government videos, pilot reports, Roswell, etc.

I generally trust the government videos because they align with all the other data and there is little reason for the government to be releasing fake UFO videos.

I find it hard to believe that all these unrelated sources are lying. And they would have to be seriously lying. Are dozens of serious people all lying in the same ways? Hard to believe. But in theory it is possible this is some sort of mass collective delusion. But that just doesn't sound plausible even when I write it.

Me too. At one point you just have to admit there is something unexplained going on. 

Look for black triangle Ufo anf read 50 reports. In different languages . From different sources. From different times. 

They ALL describe the exact same thing consistently with minor differences. I know the internet. You can't fake that.

The biggest point of uncertainty is whether the UFO are actually biological aliens in craft. That may not be the case. The UFOs could be some other kind of thing. But the reality of the UFOs themselves is almost certain at this point. The real question is what are they, who is controlling them, and does government have any recovered craft if they are craft? This I cannot be sure about.

Btw. do you see alien technology as something ontological to ones consciousness? - Meaning that they are for example only visible if they wish to be seen? Maybe they figured out how to "sense" any kind of hostile or unprepared consciousness and stay invisible to that? I think I've heard this line from Bashar or some of his followers. Is that something you factor in, or experienced yourself as true?

Sure, but nuclear weapons existing or not does not recontextualize reality so profoundly as the existence of ufos and aliens.

Just a few points off the top of my head:

• They’re not ALL lying, and they’re not ALL delusional. It’s a mix of outright lies AND delusion, mostly delusion.
• We live amongst wolves with incentive to lie. 
• The government has been known to lie about UFOs before. There is precedent. 
• Not every government employee claiming UFOs is “the government claiming it”. Liars and delusional people with government backgrounds act on their own behalf. 
• If you research the Parallax effect (the balloon gif demo I posted), that mundane explanation is almost certainly what’s going on with the government released footage. And if that footage is your main evidence, that should cause some cognitive dissonance after you earnestly account for Parallax.
• There are very subtle but real behavioral tells indicating deception. For example, I’m almost certain that cow mutilation farmer video with the cow carcass was staged. And that’s just one example. I found the cattle mutilation entry on your UFO evidence list to be out of place. It didn’t seem to belong on the list. It’s right up there with crop circles.

That is still not strong enough to refute UFOs. UFO data goes much deeper than all that.

Thats true, but for all we know they could be preparing the planet to sell.

We have no idea what there psychology is.

Probably the most selfish life forms survive better in multi planetary affairs.
