These are the things my mind came up with.

  1. Positive affirmations. They help a lot with feeling positive about the self.
  2. Devoting time to self - take out a huge chunk of time only for yourself. That's the best gift you could give yourself.
  3. Be in tune with your needs and goals - ask yourself almost every day what you want. Try to be in tune with your body, mind, spirit, needs, desires, wants, goals as much as possible. Staying in touch with who you are and then using this "self relationship" to fulfil your needs is a great way of showing love to yourself.
  4. Heal your relationship with yourself. Often we are always looking outside ourselves. We're looking to heal something external. Try to turn inwards and observe your relationship with yourself. When have you paid attention to your own inner voice? Do you judge your self harshly? Repair your relationship with your "self."

@Preety_India Heal your relationship with yourself. Often we are always looking outside ourselves. We're looking to heal something external. Try to turn inwards and observe your relationship with yourself. When have you paid attention to your own inner voice? Do you judge your self harshly? Repair your relationship with your "self."  How do you approach beginning the process for this? Could you give some examples?

I was all about positivity & loving myself for weeks and since a week something changed, I feel depressed.

As I start to become more conscious of what is Reality and this makes me more negative and feeling lonely because I don't have anyone to speak with about this and I don't feel good with my friends anymore.

I even started to watch porn again or distracting myself with videos on youtube of people who catches predators (knowing it doesn't make me feel happier or good, it's like an addiction). I always wake up in the middle of the night where before I could sleep very well
I think that what impact me the most is to see that everything/everyone is myself and how much people are unconscious

Something in me is telling me to reduce Internet/electronics and to spend more time alone, singing, meditating, doing self-love practices & going in nature but I'm afraid to know more about the Truth and that it could makes me even more depressed.

Gratitude and all those kind of positive mindset things are fine, and even essential. But ultimately one has to meet one's needs, and that's what you came across.  Self-love is treating oneself as someone deserving of love, i.e. taking care of one's needs, both basic and advanced.  And this very much means seriously reducing activities that are bad for you (like Internet/electronics) and replacing them with good ones.  So you're right in your conclusions.

@Gabith The ability to focus your mind and thoughts. This is key. Mindfulness practices help greatly with this. Keep a gratitude journal and write in as much as you can. Be aware of what you let pull your attention. Self-love has to be cultivated. Start by focusing on things that are easy to love about yourself and the world. The more you practice it, the more it will expand until it becomes your natural state.
