Meaningful way to spend time in isolation?

Hello all

I'm currently in lockdown in the UK, was wondering if I could have some tips for good ways to pass the time through the day, I currently waste it on my phone almost entirely

Read books you have, there is no better time.

Read online articles.

Learn about investing and reassess your financial situation, we are in uncertain times.

Spend quality time have fun with whoever is in your house.

Skype/Facetime/Call family and friends, wish them well.

Play with your pet(s) if you have any.

Do drugs.

Why not focus on a project? Any project. Instead of passively consuming, actively create. And for bonus points, even better if you can put your creation back into the world for others to appreciate.

Saying that, I should follow my own advice!

today i went in a park, and meditated for 40 mins.

i guess i could do that for the entire summer, starting tomorrow...

it was 4 degrees, i forgot my gloves... wimhof

also breathing deeply heat the body, like ocean breath kriya yoga.

Start contemplating.

Mediation.

Practice sitting and doing nothing.

Learn a new skill.

Read.

Begin journaling.

Make plans for future goals.

Watch documentaries on philosophy, psychology, health and reality.

Do something that you find extremely challenging.

Contact someone you’ve been avoiding or contact all people you haven’t in a long time.

Start a project that helps people and builds an income.

Start to refine the basic everyday skills. Eg. Cooking, cleanliness, hygiene, communication and exercise.

Contemplation

Stop asking others and contemplate this. What do you want? What is your purpose? What is your life purpose? What is your direction? What is your goal? What is the purpose of life? What should I be doing? Is there anything I should be doing?
