No, but I'm not buying that Love is the same thing as Consciousness/Truth/God and all that.

Love is the very fabric of isness.  If you actually opened yourself up to Love awakening will be within your grasp.

Wisdom.  Truth.  Love.

Ack! I don't use the word love either.  Awareness/consciousness is just fine by me too. Why confuse the situation by using love or God. Not my thing I guess.

Proves my point.

This example is love that is present or absent, therefore...observable!

Observable by ...you, awareness/consciousness!

@Anna1 What color was it, when you observed it?  Shape?

Haha, funny guy?

It's not visual, as you know, but it is knowable.

Who's the knower??

@Anna1 LOL I hadn’t even finished what I was saying.

So if you agree consciousness is your true nature and you are able to love your parents. By default of cutting out the middle man (your ego) then consciousness is the one loving. Now if consciousness is only a pointer, it’s a word- pointing to something.

Then what is it pointing to ?

The answer is love not consciousness. Consciousness is pointing to love. But this is metaphysically impossible for your mind to handle because you’ve defined these two terms serprrately. So we have to say consciousness is consciousness and love is love for the time being

ergo the reason you guys like consciousness explaining things more than love.

@Aakash hehe, I flat out don't agree.  Maybe I hate my parents? Then in your example consciousness is pointing to hate, not love.

Btw, consciousness is not pointing. I "AM" consciousness/awareness. All things including love ... arise, are within....me.

Hm, so love is what you are, but it/you has attributes, such as patience?? Haha!

Again, that's observable. ....by who??

You guys keep proving my point over and over...

Well everything is love, but love can be turned inside out and bastardized through the filter of ego and selection.

We can talk about the nature of everything being love which is true. Then we can talk about how love is embodied clearly and purely. Impatience only happens when you are caught in the illusion of time and ego, so that's why it could also be said that love is patient.

Well, I think I have clearly stated (as well as Mikael) I use the words awareness/consciousness, which is/was pretty mainstream in spirituality (I was on another forum for 8 years) or ancient texts at least and therefore are just saying we don't use the word "love" when there are already words such as awareness/consciousness that have been used over and over. So, why throw in a word such as love that holds sooooooooo many attributes, to something that's attributeless!
