Sane, crazy, insanity and psychosis

@Flatworld Crusades  It's like when you have a negative thought and you fight against this thoughts. Other thoughts arise like "I shouldn't be thinking like that" etc... that is the violence, trying to stop those thoughts from arising.

The let go of the thoughts or surrender, is just observe the thought. Be aware of it and let it go. When you are aware of the thought you will see it lose its power. If you fight (violence) against it, you will see that it gets stronger (the negative thought).

I was never even a fan of them doing that either. Once they chased my with police dogs and spot lights.

@DrewNows I didn't find any of the posts here offensive, but I did see that there was a lot of loose language around sanity/insanity and I was looking for a topic to contribute. I genuinley wanted to get some clarification on the meaning and definitions of the words from this perspective. 

I do withhold quite a bit and try to interact in a perfunctory fashion to avoid conflict and miscommunication. It's not morals, it's a very distinct value set.

Ive thought about this a lot and its actually quite simple.

The only real definition of insanity is if you are able to function in a society or not.

If you are hearing voices, are in constant state of paranoia where you are a danger to others, people will put you in an insane asylum and call you insane.

If you have weird beliefs but can still function in society (like flat earthers for example) people in the west will give you a pass and not seriously consider you insanse, just deluded. These people will be put in the same category as highly realized mystics simply because they cant gather a consensus for their views but are still otherwise contributing members to society.

True. The insanity I'm talking about was serious, I could have lost my mind entirely and never return to ordinary sense of reality. I don't want to return there now, it's too much for the body and mind. If I could describe everything that happened in a book, you will be utterly speakless.

What about the communication style of the forums do you notice? I lurk but don't post a lot.

Create environment that is indusive to being insane? Depends on your version of insane.

High creativeness assisted by psychedelics has helped people. Could be insanity but if it helps go for it.

Communicating within high awareness individuals who have suffered psychosis. I don't claim to have a high awareness but I have suffered psychosis.

Sane, crazy, and insane probably the average person on this forum to someone with low consciousness.

Psychotic in my experience is a whole different animal, personally did not experience nonduality or anything along those lines.
