Discipline is evil

But not devotion to something! That’s wrong.

Only devotion to Lofe itself, that’s synonymous with FREEDOM!

Amen

To truly love something is to grant that thing freedom. It is to hold it in an open, outstretched palm of your hand without clenching over it.

FREEDOM is the highest form of discipline. But not what humans call discipline.

Trying to be good is evil, because it imposes ones own will onto others or alternatively another one's will onto oneself. Both suppresses Truth & Beauty, which is evil.

Only Free Will leads to Truth & Beauty in the end.

I'm talking about FREEDOM as an absolute, not bound by time, materialism or mislead by hope. Hopelessness is the gate to FREEDOM.

That FREEDOM is LOVE and leads to BEAUTY, which is TRUTH.

The problem with having Truth as the highest value is, that everyone thinks they know the truth, when in fact NOBODY EVER knows the truth because it doesn't exist! Only when we create it it will, but that doesn't come from defining Truth, but by creating BEAUTY.

BEAUTY = TRUTH

@vibv Take a shit and give it a good whiff hehehe

Smell a rose

Smell a freshly baked cookie

Feel a cold breeze after a hot day

Feeel a cold breeze that chills the bones

Feel a balanced nervous system after a Qigong practice.

The most spiritually evolved people are very discipline.

I met such people, people who were monks since they were teens.

I think OP is hating not on the idea of doing something systemically to survive and prosper, but on the idea of being pushed by society into doing something meaningless and boring for the sake of it.

I don't like the word discipline either. I think it needs to be reframed or replaced to something that sounds less like a choke on your throat and more like a strategic choice with a vision.

And as long as the word carries those negative connotations for you, everyone who uses it will sound like they want you to become miserable forever. That's what I see happening in this thread

If it's not Joyful, it is out of Love. And finally out of complete Freedom, which is another word for Truth, Love & Beauty.

Everything else is an illusion that has us trapped here. You will understand very soon.

I'm working.

This seems a bit like the Sedona method

Anyone who’s ever achieved anything worthwhile in their life understands the value of discipline. Stop kidding yourself .

“God is the Alpha Omega .. the beginning-less  beginning and the endless end .
He is the first without start . He is the last without end . He is the manifest actuality ..nothing covers him . He is the most hidden essence  ..nothing can grasp him .. nothing below him or more subtle than him .The ego is the belief I’m separate from god . Because being god is too good to be true .No matter how dark it gets or difficult it gets ..no matter how long it is going to take .. my destiny is the infinite happiness and infinite joy and love as the best thing ever ..God .  “

-that’s a me .

I think your argument says more about the value system you are attributing to discipline, than anything inherently evil about discipline itself.

Why should the impulse that requires the least resistance be considered more authentically you than the value you deliberately choose to live by?

It is far easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled.

If it's not enjoyable it's not even worth doing.

Sometimes survival requires you to do things you don't enjoy

I agree with you on a theoretical level but this isn't how the world works.  If we didn't have discipline it's like not having fear.  We would have nothing

Yes, I agree. You not liking or enjoying something doesn’t make it evil.

I think he is not saying it's literally evil but he is poking his finger at today's culture and what we think is "good or bad"  like..you should go to college.  You're bad if you don't. You shouldn't drink alcohol

 You shouldn't have two wives

And you sure as hell shouldn't abandon Christ

 And you shouldn't be impulsive

This is pure gold standard wisdom.

Yes, I understand what’s being pointed to here, it’s the trying to be something good that is the “Evil” because it is a human judgment, which belongs to the illusion of separation, which is the product of ignorance.

Lovely thread by the way, keep shining. 💫🤩

Reminds me of those radical religious nuts who believed medical intervention is evil because illnesses are God's will.

I don't know.

Not least resistance. FREEDOM.

FREEDOM is the highest Discipline.

FREEDOM leads to JOY.

FREEDOM is LOVE.

If it doesn't contain Joy it's not worth doing.

Those are not contradictions, but part of the same TRUTH.

WE are that TRUTH. So it is our Holy Responsibility to FREE ourselves from everything that tries to supress!

But we need something to ground all those Energies, too.

It's Dangerous! But that doesn't make it not worth doing, on the contrary. It is our DUTY.

Talking in abstractions like that doesn’t lead anywhere . You need to explain how is an individual who’s undisciplined can avoid turning their lives into a mess in practice.

The answer to your question is:

BECAUSE I HAVE REALIZED THAT I AM FREEDOM

And TRUTH is JOY. But everyone contains one Piece Of Joy that is inseparable and invaluable from everything else!

YOU HAVE TO LIVE YOUR OWN TRUTH

BECAUSE YOUR PERSPECTIVE IS A PIECE OF JOY THAT NOBODY ELSE HAS

This is so fucking important that I want to scream it from the rooftops. Yet, You have no idea, yet.

The only way out of our predicament is to take the "MUST" - also a Piece Of Joy, because EVERYTHING is - and turn it back against itself to let this whole world be transformed completely and totally in one last DANCE.

EVERYTHING THAT LIMITS FREEDOM MUST BE DESTROYED

And that is everything that poses as the Truth!

And We will be the ones to do it.

Our Holy Anger is the JOY-Part of the "must".

Everything that Poses as TRUTH is FALSEHOOD

Please don't get me wrong: WORLD means not buildings and people, but all concepts that have been given to you by society.

TO DESTROY THAT WITH LOVE & CREATIVITY WILL BE OUR GREATEST JOY—but destroy it we MUST!

AND OUT OF THE ASHES OF THIS WORLD WILL ARISE A NEW WORLD, A NEW POSSIBILITY, A NEW FUTURE

GET TO WORK!

@vibv thanks for trying. Repeating the lecture isn't making anything clearer. Just obfuscates further.
