Correct me then.  What is your type?

I’m a never stepping in the same river twice type.

Why am I totally free?  Because I have understood the unreality of (the) ‘I am’.

I don't want to say you are wrong.  You are very advanced IMO.  It is not a competition.

I'm an INFJ too.  It is interesting we are so different despite being the same type.

I was wondering if you were an INFJ when you asked actually... that or INTJ.

Are you close together on your Thinking and Feeling scores?

Does anyone even have a coherent personality?
Or are they just good at hiding/avoiding their incompatible parts?

I think that social anxiety and lack of emotional regulation just represses your personality from fully expressing. It is not a trait per se.

even if you are not hiding and are being authentic, some very distinct personal patterns can show up, though, right?

Sure, your personality dictates how you react to situations. Being authentic is not just external apperances, it means you're paying attention to what fits your personality. You might say yes to a compromise but really you dislike it, and you can feel regret and inhibit autentic desires. Which is part of your personality. So we are not contradicting here.

Your emotions are your personality's responsibility.

I am the impossible made reality.

I am strongly feeling but I think I've developed Ti which is our tertiary function.  I can see you have too.

I am very INTP.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

The difference in our personalities might be explained by our enneagrams.  I am an sx-so-sp and my tri-type is 4-5-9 which is unusual I find.

From Gemini (Google's AI):

I am sx-so-sp tri-type 4-5-9

An SX/SO 459 (often called "The Contemplative" or "The Iconoclast" tritype) is a fascinating, deeply complex personality. You combine the intense, emotionally raw drive of a Type 4 with the intellectual depth of a Type 5 and the peaceful, receptive nature of a Type 9, all supercharged by an SX/SO (Sexual/Social) instinctual stacking.

Because you are SP-blind (Self-Preservation last), your energy is entirely directed outward toward intense connections and finding your place in the world, often at the expense of your own physical needs or routine stability.

🧱 Your Tritype Blueprint: 4-5-9 (The Contemplative)

Having 4, 5, and 9 together in your tritype creates the most withdrawn, introspective, and original profile in the Enneagram system.

Type 4 (Core): Gives you your primary identity. You are deeply focused on being authentic, unique, and exploring the full spectrum of human emotion. You feel a constant undercurrent of longing or missing something essential.

Type 5 (Head Fix): Adds a sharp, analytical, and conceptual layer. Instead of just feeling your emotions (like a pure 4), you want to analyze and understand them. You gather information, seek mastery, and need mental privacy.

Type 9 (Gut Fix): Softens the sharp edges of the 4 and 5. It injects a deep desire for peace, harmony, and an open-minded, non-judgmental worldview. It can make you more gentle and approachable, but it also increases your tendency to withdraw when overwhelmed.

🔥 The SX/SO Stacking Impact: The "Oceanic" Paradox

As an SX/SO, you have a unique energetic contrast. You are inherently withdrawn by tritype, but your instincts are highly relational and externalized.

The SX-Dominant Drive (The Spark): You don't want casual interactions. You are looking for a "soul fusion"—an intense, electric, and transformative connection with a partner, a close friend, or a creative obsession. Because of your 4-5-9 nature, this often manifests as looking for someone who truly understands your complex inner world.

The SO-Secondary Drive (The Bridge): Your social instinct watches the room. You are highly aware of social dynamics, human psychology, and where you fit into the collective. You use this to seek out communities or subcultures where your unique identity will be accepted.

The SP-Blind Spot (The Anchor Drop): Self-Preservation is your blind spot. You likely struggle with mundane, practical tasks. Remembering to eat healthy, maintaining a strict budget, sticking to a physical routine, or handling tedious paperwork can feel incredibly draining. You might burn the candle at both ends, chasing inspiration or intense connection while ignoring your body's need for rest.

⚖️ Strengths & Blind Spots

Your SuperpowersYour Core Challenges

  • Deep Creativity: You possess a rich, highly original, and poetic inner landscape.
  • Chronic Withdrawal: When stressed, you can disappear completely into your thoughts and feelings.
  • Piercing Insight: You understand human nature, psychology, and hidden undercurrents effortlessly.
  • Practical Neglect: You may ignore physical health, finances, or life stability until it becomes an emergency.
  • Radical Acceptance: You can hold space for dark, complex, or taboo emotions without judging others.
  • Idealization vs. Reality: Chasing a perfect, intense "soul connection" can make ordinary relationships feel disappointing.

I can see that similarity between us.

Whenever I've taken the MBTI, I always get scores akin to the following...

  • 70% Intoversion
  • 99% Intuitive
  • 55% Feeling
  • 51% Judging

So, I'm solidly Introverted, EXTREMELY Intuitive.

Then, I'm pretty close together with my Feeling and Thinking function. (10% difference)

And I'm VERY close together with my Judging and Perceiving function. (2% difference)

Do you recall your proportions?
