I Slept With a Woman Who Hated Men

@AION

You decontextualize arguments while actively judging the people making them. Then, when someone calls that out, you retreat to “I judge arguments, not people.”

You can judge the logical structure of an idea independently of the person, but interpreting it accurately still requires considering their intended meaning and context. Otherwise, you’re evaluating your own version of their argument.

For example, @Sincerity said the moderators supported @Natasha Tori Maru warnings. You turned that into “So other mods can’t disagree.” Agreement on specific warnings became a supposed rule forbidding disagreement. That wasn’t the claim.

Meanwhile, you said Natasha had serious issues and mocked her with comments about testosterone. Those are personal judgments.

So when she says you’ve been uncharitable toward her, your claim to judge only arguments doesn’t answer her. How you represent someone’s argument is precisely what’s being questioned. You’re willing to judge others personally, then claim detached objectivity when your own conduct comes under scrutiny. I’m sick of that double standard.

Address the examples.

We live under a joke tyranny. #FreeTheJoke

@Ulax

Trolling isn’t interchangeable with joking, especially in an environment where people put time into genuinely engaging with each other.

I love comedy. I watch a special pretty much every week, spent a lot of COVID studying it, and even considered doing it myself. My cousin does comedy too. I appreciate how much thought and skill goes into making something funny.

But provoking people into answering something you aren’t sincerely presenting, then treating their engagement as proof they can’t take a joke, is a different thing. Calling that “joke tyranny” overlooks why people object: their willingness to engage is being used against them.

Nobody has to find this funny to prove they can lighten up. Taking a discussion seriously doesn’t tell you how relaxed or playful someone is outside it.

So sure, #FreeTheJoke. Bring some of that humor into everyday life too. But if you want people here to engage thoughtfully, give them something worth engaging with—and stop treating their effort as the punchline.

You’ve shown you can joke around. What you haven’t shown in this exchange is the same willingness to think seriously about what people are saying. Maybe that deserves more attention than whether the rest of us can lighten up.

@yetineti I am a living embodiment of all of AIONs shadow projections & subconscious manifest in a person on a screen who has authority over him.

It is far easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled.

both men and women are horribly selfish. if you're not hot and/or extroverted its mostly over. the end.

Now stop hating on feminists. they are just accelerating eugenicism. your parents let them free to choose the worst men and they raised men to hate themselves and either be soyboys or retarded tatelike monsters.

The world is horrible. do something about it or shut up.

You're never going to convince women with your whining, and its super loser behaviour. either overthrow matriarchy or play the game.

I don't think that the male burden of competence has anything to do with women, it's mostly natural selection and tribe dynamics. If you don't offer value to the tribe and help it solve our collective problems then you will not benefit much from our collective blessings.

I also felt some resentment towards the whole when I hadn't found a good way to develop my skillset and ability to build a powerful income on my terms. I don't have it fully figured out but life is starting to feel more and more like a pleasant adventure rather than a series of challenges imposed on me which is how I felt about it beforehand.

I recommend you introspect on your strengths and how they can give you leverage into the market as a whole and it'll find its way toward giving you more abundance in the dating market as well.
