Is True Manifestation Possible?

4 posts in this topic

I want to get your opinions on this. Can you truly manifest or is it just a psychological gimmick?

There are two types of manifestation. One is that you create an image of something in your mind and motivate yourself to pursue it. But this isn’t real manifestation because it’s your actions in the objective world that produce a result. For example, visualizing yourself getting hot women and then going out to talk to them.

The second type is more interesting — manifesting as a spiritual endeavor. This means that you manifest something without actually taking action. For example, you think “I want to grow taller as an adult” and then that actually happens. This would be true manifestation because there is no objective-world action that would lead to the outcome.

I have no direct experience of this type of manifestation, but my intuition tells me it might be possible. If what Leo says about reality being imaginary is true, it must be possible to do these kinds of things, even if it requires a way higher state of consciousness.

Do you have any direct experience of “true” manifestation? If you do, explain what it was and your epistemology behind it, i.e. why it wasn’t an action in the real world that produced the result.

In my experience, truth seems untouched by human manipulation. That doesn’t mean you can’t work hard toward something or pursue what you want, but I don’t believe there are any real shortcuts unless you cheat. And even then, cheating doesn’t truly work, because reality eventually reveals what is real.

You ask alot. You ask for us to describe manifesting, and what it may possibly mean, through the infinite space of whats possible ~ And it includes many things. Will your manifesting be the same, explanation-wise, as well as actually to someone elses? Iuno. Theres many questions you pose by asking such a question, that from your perspective should be validated and considered on your own time. Theres more roads to choose, a weighted bundle of possible options, many more than just the ones youve put forward; For, even those have many more questions you would have to face. You think too lightly of it as an idea ("idea" being, your internal expressions made manifest)

Paraphrase from Poimandres (Corpus Hermeticum): "... that which is in the Word is also in ourselves."

Greek Magical Papyri (PGM): "I call upon the Word of the All, that which binds heaven and earth, and let it manifest in the circle."

Plato – Cratylus (439–440): "A name is a likeness of the thing itself; if rightly spoken, it carries the essence of what it names."

You assume "true manifesting" means something specific, but i employ you to define it for us, for youll find a thousand different ways you could truly lay it out,

Maybe you mean "Can i wish for something to happen, and have it happen"? I dont know, i dont know what you are thinking. Youd have to be more distinct in your words.
