The Tension Before the Approach

Can he get results? Sure. But I personally dont consider him an authority. I made a thread a little while ago where RSD Jeffy and Luke exposed that Owens game is terrible. Too polarizing, too over the top and gets him constantly blown out and thrown out of venues because he lacks social calibration.

Owen gets results by massive volume and playing the long game:

Hosting parties and networking etc. where he is seen as a big authoritative figure. He also needs rich friends to host massive parties with.

For same day / night pulls, he is terrible.

He is basically like a club promoter but he takes the girls from the club and invites into his own party where he is the star.

This is not a realistic approach for most people getting into pick up.

At the end of the day, Owen is physically way too unattractive for game to help him much. His only choice really is to do what he does, and hypnotize some girls to fall hard into his frame and lifestyle. That’s why he pushes frame so hard. The only way for him to get attraction is if manages to get some girls to lose all sensemaking.

You could keep the condescending approach to yourself and do some self inquiry before you respond.

This is not how you are going to get laid.

Guys check out Owen’s Last Game program. He explains why he’s so polarizing there.

It’s basically ‘Purple Cow’ from Seth Godin

That program was basically just some unreleased YouTube videos, it was pretty lame.

I have to level with some of y'all. You take this too seriously and are too deep down the rabbit hole consuming and following this PUA community content. I'm not saying its not useful to learn some pick up and game, but diminishing returns hit extremely fast here.

90% of it is just the push to do approaches. Another 5% are the basics of direct approach vs non direct. The last 5% are all of these specifics the dating coaches might impart on you. All of those little nuggets of knowledge, you can't really integrate them. Its too many small disconnected threads and competing ideologies.

The only way to get better is to date and spend more time with women. Even more importantly, to spend more time improving and living your life.

You aren't going to get better at game by consuming more of this content. Take the basic messages, then go live your life and develop your own style. Its like that old Alan Watts adage: when you get the message hang up the phone.

To add, Owen doesn't do daygame. He is purely a night game guy. Why is that? Because day game deals with sober girls, in their right mind, who are very sensitive to any weirdo behaviour in a man who is approaching them. You need very solid social calibration in the day time vs night time.

In a bar or club, where girls are partying and drinking, you dont need to be as sharp because the girls are in a different headspace. If Owen can barely get results at night, you BEST BELIEVE he aint getting none in the day time.

The guy cant read social cues too well. He admits this himself in almost all his videos.

Owen has a strange chip on his shoulder that doesn't let him connect with people authentically so your point on him not resonating with the more grounded environment of daygame is very astute.

I think what Leo means by creepy is he's always frame battling people even where there is no need to like he never got over his teenager insecurities and sees the world as a competition 100% of the time.

My Velvet Network business partner took a bunch of bootcamps from RSD and he said Owen's bootcamps were the worst because he didn't actually put in effort. It was his assistants doing them and at like 2 AM he would show up talk around the club quickly gather the guys outside, give a speech and go home and he was like why the fuck did I pay $1500 extra for this?

You can see he even does it to Sartain here where instead of being warm and friendly with his buddy that he's known for 15 years he's still very cold and calculated and frame battling sartain. I think honestly Owen is a bit of a sociopath and interestingly he stayed far away from psychedelics which perhaps would heal his inner traumas and connect him with the world more. One of the clearest experiences in my life that connected me deeply to people forever since was doing Molly at a club and feeling so much love for these random people that I just considered antagonistic and judging me just an hour ago.
