Need some insight on death

4 posts in this topic

Leo has said when you die you dissolve into a sea of infinite love. That’s obviously best case scenario even if it means being forcefully ripped free of absolutely everything you’ve ever known. I can only hope we’re all blessed enough for that to be true for everyone. But that doesn’t account for the traditions that say there are karmic cycles where you have to either reincarnate here or take on some other form however many times before you make it all the way back. Doesn’t account for the claims of Hell realms and so forth. I’ve heard some traditions say things like whatever state of consciousness you die in, the same vibration carries over to the other side only amplified. I’ve heard it put like being a human is the highest blessing for a physical being because it gives you the most control over your spiritual evolution, and you can potentially get stuck in post life states of hell/purgatory that can subjectively go on for eons before you get this chance again.

Is this likely just more fear based programming to follow a certain practice similar to how evangelical Christianity uses the threat of hell? Or could they be touching on something legit?

If it’s the latter I’m in deep shit if I were to die right now or soon. Some of the dream states I often go into are so horrific I wouldn’t wish them on anyone ever. So I’m worried about the possibility those might be a warning or preview of what’s to come with much greater intensity if I don’t get to working very seriously. I still have so, SO much hatred in my heart, (which I’ve gotten better about over the last year) extreme addiction to cheap pleasures, laziness, etc.

It doesn’t matter where you will go after you die . What matters is what you are doing in your life now . Because what you are doing with your life now Is going to determine where will you go after death .
If you are scared of death ..then you should practice how to die before your actual death . When you are actually dying there is nothing you can do about it unless You’ve been practicing for your whole life how to prepare yourself for death. For most people when they are dying there is nothing they can do. They will be completely defeated and overtaken by fear and pain such that the ego will be annihilated completely..not a conscious surrender… but the ego will be forced to surrender.
this is why there are a lot of mythology and stories about the soul leaving the body during death through the throat . If you lived unconsciously in this life and without surrendering your ego while alive ..then your soul/ego will cling into another body and you will find yourself reincarnated into another body ..that’s the eastern mythology . In western mythology you will incarnate into a hell realm . Both are not true literally. They just describe that the soul’s fate after death depends upon what you do in this life .

“God is the Alpha Omega .. the beginning-less  beginning and the endless end .
He is the first without start . He is the last without end . He is the manifest actuality ..nothing covers him . He is the most hidden essence  ..nothing can grasp him .. nothing below him or more subtle than him .The ego is the belief I’m separate from god . Because being god is too good to be true .No matter how dark it gets or difficult it gets ..no matter how long it is going to take .. my destiny is the infinite happiness and infinite joy and love as the best thing ever ..God .  “

-that’s a me .

Yes. Your speaking from the common Christian / Santa claus, societal, illusion-based perspective / inquisition ("common refutation" of the internet mainstream), that only indicates to me those questions are coming from someone whostill believes these things, or is trying to find "grounding" to believe in

Youve answered a majority of your own ques., but ill add one thing that underlies it all is "belief", for once you replace all of those things in them 2-3 paragraphs, youll now have a new dilemma, where the "ground from which you sit/stand" isnt fully erect, like your gonna be fully tilted by the fact that all your beliefs are wrong...

People dont like finding out they were wrong. The mind doesnt like to learn its ever wrong, especially in todays technological society. Its all \*clever comments, and online egos and sht... I mean, iuno where you wanna go from this, assuming you get past all those ques., but theres a long way up, and alot more questions your gonna have... I mean... Somewhere in there is "a belief that your trying to understand" typeve thing, but its veiled by like, the very heart of questions around consciousness, and the best area to start is actually a diff question... one that addresses consciousness, without it being "what is consciousness".

Rather, youll want "what am i doing, that is resulting in consciousness", like more of the mechanical difference. Thatll erase those questions eventually.

Paraphrase from Poimandres (Corpus Hermeticum): "... that which is in the Word is also in ourselves."

Greek Magical Papyri (PGM): "I call upon the Word of the All, that which binds heaven and earth, and let it manifest in the circle."

Plato – Cratylus (439–440): "A name is a likeness of the thing itself; if rightly spoken, it carries the essence of what it names."

Hatred and misconception are temporary states.  Truth is eternal, always and forever.  At death one enters into the realm of Truth.  So, what's true?  Eternally?

In truth, each of those cycles is temporary.  Each and every realization of truth, is forever.  At death, and in glimpses prior, temporary states are subsumed within the realization of eternity.  Within that realization there will, always and forever, be the sting of the errors in choices and perspectives, but, simultaneously, these errors will be connected with the eternal reconciliation.  Here-and-now it feels like this reconciliation is distant, but, because it's truly-true, eternally, the reconciliation is always happening.

Yes and no.  While it's true that all mistakes are temporary, the last mistakes one is making immediately prior to death is a special case.  It's always and forever true: that's the way they died.  Nothing changed it.  It lasts forever.  That' the reason for the  unique sting, amplified forever.  But, at the same time, because the errors are forever connected to their reconciliation, the pain is offset.  It's amplified after death, because, it's always true, that's how they died.  But it's also being diminished, or sweetened, always and forever.

No.  The traditions you're referring to are very different than that.  There is no law giving divine executive in these traditions.  However a western born individual will have a difficult time divorcing themselves from that.  The fear mongering leaves a sharp deep lasting impression.
